My favorite things to cook
It depends on my mood and how many are here for dinner.
My favorite family cooking traditions
My mother's homemade noodles, mashed potatoes and fried chicken and also her fruit pies, my paternal grandmother's homemade cinnamon rolls and cookies and also her fruit pies and my maternal grandmother's bean soup.
My cooking triumphs
Homemade spaghetti noodles and sauce, chicken corn chowder, chili, homemade breads and rolls, squash casserole, egg rolls, wontons, sushi, 7 layer dip, homemade decorated cakes, taco salad, homemade tortilla's and taco chips...
My cooking tragedies
Too many to list..., probably the homemade donuts were the worst.

Spicy Squash Casserole
This was the best squash casserole I have ever tasted. It was even a winner for those in my family who insist they don't like squash. And, it is a terrific way to use up that bumper crop of squash from your garden. I bought disposable aluminum casseroles and made extras for the freezer, too!
