Pepper-Honey Cedar Plank Salmon
This received high marks from all of the Make-Ahead Mamas and our kids! Combine the marinade and freeze separate from the fish (we get the pre-shrink wrapped frozen filets at a warehouse/club store). Thaw the fish in the refrigerator the night before serving, and add it to the marinade 1-24 hours before grilling. Your family and friends will be impressed, with hardly any effort!!

Rhubarb Strawberry Crunch
We love to have these on hand for summer gathering. Just store the fruit filling in a separate bag from the crumb topping, freeze and thaw the day before you're ready to assemble. We use less butter and more oats and add a hint of cinnamon to the topping too. Delicious!

Mediterranean Lamb Burgers
This recipe has been a favorite of our Make-Ahead Mamas cooking group for over three years. We make it every summer during our Summer Grilling Cooking Party and it's a great gourmet alternative to a traditional hamburgers for your next BBQ. To save time the day of your BBQ, make these ahead of time! Simply freeze the uncooked patties in a single layer on parchment paper on a cookie sheet, then stack the frozen patties in a freezer container or Ziploc Freezer bag. Thaw the day before your party, or cook the patties directly from the freezer (just add a few more minutes to the cooking time!). Delicious!
