Cranberry Pork Chops II
Used this recipe as a base for pork steak which was what I had on hand. I used a can of whole cranberry sauce, two fresh squeezed oranges, a little brown sugar, some shakes of onion flakes and thickened it a little with orange juice and cornstarch. I only had to cook for 20 minutes as the pork steak was thinner than chops. I served it with frozen peas, jasmine rice with a little of the cranberry sauce drizzled on the rice. A definite keeper! Pretty on the plate, too!

MMMMM... Brownies
This was a respectable recipe. I used Guittard chocolate chips and 1 cup of walnuts. The texture was great; the actual flavor of the brownies was chocolate-y, but I have made many pans of brownies in my life, and I prefer the ones made with cocoa/oil, or unsweetened chocolate/butter. Like another reviewer said, it could have been the lack of a stick of butter vs. 2 Tablespoons, I don't know. But I like my recipe better for flavor.

Molasses Cookies
I learned something valuable today. I keep looking for different molasses/gingersnap cookie recipes and I need to stop doing that. I made this with the revisions that several people recommended. I wish I had added the 2nd t. of soda. Also, this cookie does not have enough flour. Most recipes like this have 2 1/4 cups of flour. Mine were flat. They were unappealing. The last few cookies I decided to add a big T of flour and mixed it in. The last 7 cookies looked normal; puffy and nice looking. The flavor was fine but if I made these again I would add 1/4 cup of flour.
