Slow Cooker Honey Garlic Chicken
I thought this recipe was excellent just the way it is written. We can buy chicken thighs so cheaply at our grocery store, that I wouldn't even bother with breasts -- save those for the grill! I have purchased the bone-in/skin style before when they are on sale and just removed the skin prior to preparing, then removed the bones at the end before serving. Thanks for this recipe. My husband loves Asian/rice dishes and this one has become a new family favorite.

Big Soft Ginger Cookies
As a ginger cookie fanatic, these are truly the best! I have made them over two dozen times and have learned a few things: 1. using OJ instead of water does bring out the ginger flavor more; 2. butter will work if you are out of margarine (though margarine IS better); 3. letting the dough sit for 1-2 hours makes it easier to roll into balls (I have also let it refrigerate overnight); 4. how old/fresh your bottle of ground ginger is, will impact the flavor; 5. type of molasses you use, will impact the flavor; and 6. for fellow ginger lovers, these are also good with bits of candied ginger added to the mix just before balling!!

German Pancake with Buttermilk Sauce
We love this recipe, but often make the German pancakes alone without the sauce for breakfast -- just use fresh berries/powdered sugar or regular maple syrup on top -- the buttermilk sauce is good, but turns it more into a dessert than a breakfast.
