These are veyr good but way too not to handle with your hands. Had to use wooden spoons but the taste is worth it.

Molasses Cookies

Delicious! The only change I made was to use butter instead of margarine. Next time I'll try brown sugar instead of white but they were really good as written. My family ate them in one night. Definitely a keeper.

Cornbread Casserole

I made this for a youth group pot luck dinner at church and they loved it! Not a crumb left. I also added 2 eggs and some sour cream. Will make again for Thanksgiving now.

Spooky Witches' Fingers

Reviewed: Nov. 9, 2007
Very good cookie recipe however you need to leave the leavening out so they don;t spread. Then they are more like a shortbread. Very good. Have made these several times and you can leave thebaking powder in. Tinted them green last time and they were sooo cute. However, you do need some gel or some other adhesive to keep the fingernails from falling off after baking. Very tasty cookie too.

Pumpkin Whoopie Pies

Reviewed: Oct. 29, 2007
We loved these at work-everyone went quickly. However, I did substitute a cream cheese filling since I'm not fond of shortening fillings. Will definitely make again (for my kids this time).

Annie's Fruit Salsa and Cinnamon Chips

Reviewed: Oct. 13, 2007
This was very good. The only mistake I made was using frozen raspberries since the fresh were out of season andvery expensive. Best to make it when the berries are available rather than having fruit soup. BUt it still tasted great so I kknwo it will be great w/fresh berries. The chips are fantastic.

I enjoyed these and my church loved them. For my taste, it was a little too heavy in the bleu cheese but others really liked it...so be it.

Crab Rangoon III

These were so good. I took them to a silent auction as an appetizer and they were the first thing to go (and I had even doubled the recipe). Very easy although a little time-consuming filling the wraps but soooo worth it.

Banana Cake VI

This is delicious. It is my daughter's favorite cake now and she even requested it for her 16th birthday. Does take longer to bake than it says here though. Mine went to about 1 1/2 hours.

There was nothing wrong with this cake. It just wasn't myfavorite. I used really good berries butit came out fairly boring. Again, nothing wrong, just not very exciting.

Chocolate Trifle

Reviewed: Aug. 16, 2007
This was delicious but I did add the toffee bits, caramel sauce, and nuts. Took it to work and every last bite was gone. I prefer cooked pudding to the instant but when mixed with cool whip, it's hard to tell the difference.

These are just too cute. Have made them several times now because they're so easy and appealing. Even my office loved them. I usually mae the hamburger cake which is much more labor intensive so this is a nice and easy change.
