I have baked this bread a few times and everyone loves it! It's a great way to use the zucchini from the garden for a breakfast or dessert treat.

Maple Glazed Ribs

Reviewed: Nov. 8, 2002
My husband and I loved this recipe. We used side ribs and cooked them on a rack with a pan to catch the drippings and they turned out perfecty yummy, just falling off the bone.

Sandy's Casserole

Reviewed: Nov. 23, 2002
This was a very easy recipe to make with excellent results. My husband loved it. I substituted a can of cream of mushroom soup for one of the chicken and used leftover cooked chicken. Adding salt and pepper brings out the flavours. I will definately make this again.

Jay's Signature Pizza Crust

Reviewed: Jan. 21, 2004
My husband and I loved this recipe. It makes alot so splitting it in two would be a good idea. I used a pizza stone and let it rise a second time. This is definately a keeper.

Scandinavian Almond Bars

Reviewed: Feb. 25, 2004
I've made these bars six or seven times now and have added this recipe to my "favorites" recipe box. Everyone in my family raves about them and prefers them to all other cookies and bars. I make the icing thicker by reducing the milk to 2 tablespoons and then drizzling it on. To make them more colorful I tint the icing pink. Wonderful recipe!

I've made this recipe again and again. Everytime my family visits from Quebec I ask them to bring maple syrup. Finger licking good!

Daria's Slow Cooker Beef Stroganoff

Reviewed: Mar. 4, 2004
Although this was an easy recipe to put together, I was disappointed in the end result. I use my slow cooker quite regularly but I will go back to my stove to make my beef stroganoff from now on. The taste just didn't do it for me.

Slow-Cooker Pepper Steak

This is a fabulous recipe. I added mushrooms and used Bisto instead of the cube. I sliced the green pepper and onion into thin strips. I also added some red wine to the browned beef. Wonderful!

Apple Pie Bars

Reviewed: Jul. 17, 2005
I made these for my husband who loves apples and they were a big hit. Great for dessert or with morning coffee. Note: The recipe should read 1 1/2 tablespoons (not teaspoons)milk for the glaze.

Bobbie's Oatmeal Cookies

Reviewed: Jul. 17, 2005
This recipe is on my all-time favorite list. I omitted the pecans and upped the chocolate to 1 cup. I used chocolate chunks instead of chips and big plump raisins. These are my husband's favorite and he's very particular about his cookies! This is a definite keeper.

Chocolate Chocolate Chip Cookies I

Reviewed: Dec. 3, 2005
I made these for my nephews and they were a huge hit. I didn't have enough cocoa powder so I substituted with hot chocolate powder and they turned out great. I later made them with only cocoa powder and I thought they were a little too intense. Next time I'll stick with half cocoa powder and half hot chocolate powder. A definite keeper!

Canadian Shortbread 'Eh'

Reviewed: Dec. 19, 2005
I tried this recipe again and made a few changes. I added 1/2 tsp. of maple extract to the maple syrup to add taste. Then, when the cookies were almost cooled, I glazed them with a mixture of sifted icing sugar, milk and maple extract. Use the back of a spoon to spread over cookie, then let set. These turned out wonderful! I cut them in the shape of maple leaves.

Macaroni and Cheese V

I have made this dish many times and love it. I like to use strong, white cheddar and top it off with finely crushed Ritz crackers and sliced tomatoes. It makes a wonderful side dish or a main course for lunch.

This was so easy to make and turned out wonderfully. I used a bundt pan and ended up baking it 10 minutes longer than the recipe says. This is an excellent cake to make for a picnic and is delicious served with fruit.
