Reviewed: May 24, 2011
I have made this countless times on my barbeque. With the rotisserie unit it takes about 2 hours to cook and OMG is it good. Thanks for a great recipe!

Maple Pancakes

Reviewed: Aug. 21, 2010
My husband loved these pancakes. He said that cooking them perfectly is half the battle. I think they turned out great so gave it a 5 rating. I subbed the veg oil with melted butter and added 1/2 tsp maple extract. I sifted the dry ingredients to avoid lumps. It's very important not to overmix when blending in the wet ingredients.

Blonde Brownies III

Reviewed: Aug. 19, 2010
I made a couple of changes to bring this recipe closer to another I have for chocolate brownies that is very successful. I omitted the baking powder and increased the eggs to 5. I also decreased the flour to 2 1/2 cups. I added 1 tspn vanilla extract, 1 cup walnuts and 1 cup white chocolate chips. They were a big hit. Another keeper. Thanks!

Cola Pork Chops

These were wonderful. My husband was at first skeptical about the cola but raved over the taste. I didn't change a thing in the recipe, it's perfect as is.

Cornbread Muffins I

Reviewed: Nov. 15, 2009
This is a favorite recipe of mine. I like to serve these muffins with chicken or as a side to any dish, really. I reduced the sugar to 1/2 cup and use 1 can of drained kernel corn. Delicious!

Roxie's Bran Muffins

Reviewed: Aug. 16, 2009
This is a really good bran muffin recipe and very easy although I did make some changes. I didn't have bananas so I subbed in 1/3 cup of vanilla yogourt and added 1/2 tsp of vanilla, 1/4 tsp salt and 1/2 tsp baking powder. I also used white flour and subbed blueberries instead of raisins. They were very moist and tasty. I did bake them at 400 but they were ready in 15 minutes. I'll keep this in my files and definately make again.

Clone of a Cinnabon

I am just now enjoying one of these fantastic cinnamon buns. So easy to make with the help of my bread machine. To speed up the process I bought cream cheese icing and smeared it over the warm buns. Thanks for a great recipe!

Rich Chocolate Brownies

Reviewed: May 22, 2008
I have made this recipe again and again. I followed the tip from babyjaimie and used 5 eggs and no baking powder for a double batch. I also drizzled caramel sundae topping over top of the batter and swirled in before baking. I ice it with a vanilla bean butter icing and I have to tell you....they are out of this world. Thanks for a great recipe!

Lemon Lover's Pound Cake

Reviewed: Sep. 27, 2007
This is the best pound cake I have made to date. I served it to the members of a club I belong to and it was gone in literally minutes. I baked it for the full 60 minutes and then turned the oven off and left it for another 1/2 hour with the oven door open. I didn't have time to ice it but next time I will drizzle it with lemon glaze. Thanks for a great recipe, I'll use it often.

These cookies are delicious. Use a processer to get fine walnut crumbs. A little messy to make but definitely worth it.

Chicken Crunch

Reviewed: Dec. 5, 2006
This dish turned out better then I had anticipated. I used Kingshorses suggestion and made a white sauce to add to 1 can of cream of mushroom soup. I used 5 bone-in chicken breasts and added frozen mixed vegetables. With crushed Ritz crackers on top this dish was delish! My husband gobbled it up and we have leftovers for tonight. Very easy recipe to prepare.

Jack's Chocolate Chip Cookies

Reviewed: Dec. 4, 2006
I rated this a 5 because my husband loved them so much. He is the cookie expert. I thought that it was an overdose of chocolate chips but if you're into chocolate then you'll love these. Be sure not to overbake. Thanks for the superb recipe.

This was so easy to make and turned out wonderfully. I used a bundt pan and ended up baking it 10 minutes longer than the recipe says. This is an excellent cake to make for a picnic and is delicious served with fruit.

Canadian Shortbread 'Eh'

Reviewed: Dec. 19, 2005
I tried this recipe again and made a few changes. I added 1/2 tsp. of maple extract to the maple syrup to add taste. Then, when the cookies were almost cooled, I glazed them with a mixture of sifted icing sugar, milk and maple extract. Use the back of a spoon to spread over cookie, then let set. These turned out wonderful! I cut them in the shape of maple leaves.
