About this Cook
I'm 30 years old and just got married for the second time in December of 2004 on a cruise ship!
My favorite things to cook
My husband is an excellent cook, but he hates to bake. So I love to bake things like desserts and casseroles. I certainly know my way around the kitchen though!
My favorite family cooking traditions
We always make "Egg-strata" up on Christmas Eve, let it sit over night, and eat it Christmas morning. We always have "Overnight Salad" and Sweet Potato Casserole on Thanksgiving.
My cooking triumphs
Supervising and cooking a meal for 75 people for a large dinner.
My cooking tragedies
Completely screwing up a baby shower cake for a friend's party lol

Resurrection Rolls
Every other recipe I've ever read for these says to use a muffin tin, not a baking sheet. If you do this then the marshmallow soaks into the bread instead of spilling out. So follow the recipe but use a muffin tin and it should be great!

Avocado Egg Salad
I got the lap band a few months ago and had to be on 2 weeks of liquids and 2 weeks of mushy foods after the surgery. It got old, so I went looking for something new I could do with eggs and avocado. When I saw this recipe I was dubious. Having tasted all these ingredients separately, I just didn't see them tasting good together lol. Boy was I wrong. OMG this is so yummy! Even now that I'm not on mushies anymore, I still make this for lunch weekly. I always try to figure out what makes all these things taste good together, I think it's the sweet pickles. I use a pre-made sweet pickle relish cause I'm lazy lol, it really just ties everything together. So don't doubt it, try it! Yum!
