Good grief people! You are supposed to rate the recipe on HOW IT TASTES not on how the picture looks or how many calories are in it or the ingredients you THINK should have been included. If you haven't eaten it please don't make the rest of scroll through useless reviews to find helpful ones!

Slow Cooker Beef Stroganoff I

I want to say that I *LOVED* this recipe exactly as it was. But, as cooks have a tendency to do, I did start tweeking it here and there to suit my own family. What I did was double the meat and add 16oz whole mushrooms, chunked, at the onset of cooking. I also added one envelope of dry onion soup mix along with the 1/2 cup chopped onion the recipe calls for and I omitted the water completely to allow for a nice thick sauce. We are watching our weight and I have used fat-free cream cheese with no noticeable change in flavor. Mmmmm!

Chili I

Bob, this is an incredible chili. I made it exactly as your recipe stated and wouldn't change a thing. My dh about fell off his chair because it was SO good. Up until now he was the self-proclaimed chili king and he has humbly turned over his crown to you! ;-P I promptly went out the next day and bought triple the ingredients and cooked up and froze several more batches (is this ever good when it defrosts! Wow!) Thanks for sharing this!

Doreen's Steak Marinade

This marinade is excellent! We enjoyed it on our steak a lot. I wanted to share that this is also an INCREDIBLE marinade for ribs! We were in heaven and will never have ribs any other way again. I marinaded them in Doreens recipe for 5 hrs (next time, over night!) and then braised them in the marinade in the oven for 2hrs on 300 degrees, basting with the marinade every 30 minutes, before grilling with the BBQ sauce (honey BBQ goes fabulous with this marinade).
