Strawberry Spinach Salad I

Reviewed: Oct. 19, 2004
I have made this several times now, mostly in the summer. I use raspberry vinegar and leave out the poppy seeds as I don't typically have have them on hand. I glaze pecans instead of using almonds and throw in some tomato-basil feta at the end. Very good.

Crispy Orange Beef

Reviewed: Mar. 25, 2003
Took alot of time, but it was worth it. I drained all of the oil and used 1 tablespoon of fresh oil when doing the sauce, there was quite a bit of the cornstarch in the bottom of my pan that I did not want to have in my sauce and it turned out wonderful. I used ginger powder instead of fresh, seemed to be fine. I have made this twice now, the second time was with chicken, I loved it, it was almost better then with beef.

Beat and Bake Orange Cake

Reviewed: Oct. 28, 2002
This was the best cake I have had in a long time, I added extra zest and OJ to the cake and I added a little extra zest to the frosting which turned out to be more of a glaze then a frosting but that was great as well.

Pasta With Peanut Sauce

Reviewed: Oct. 2, 2002
I have made the sauce several times now, I use a touch of coconut milk in it to give it a more "thai" taste. It is not too spicy, which is right up my roommates alley. I add more hot sauce to mine at the end.

Slow Cooker Chicken and Dumplings

Reviewed: Nov. 11, 2011
Very good, even my picky husband liked it. It's a rare find to have something with chicken in it that he says he would request me to make again. Used chicken broth rather than water, added some garlic powder and parsley.

Brown Sugar Chops

Reviewed: Jan. 7, 2008
Coming from a person that does not like pork chops these are worth the make, I did change it up a bit. I melted the butter, and added some fresh garlic to it before adding the brown sugar and onion soup mix. I stuck it all in a bowl and let it sit on the chops for about an hour and then baked it at about 325 for 45 min or so. Very good.

So in love with this, I always add at least three times the green curry, brings in the spice and makes my house smell wonderful. Last time i made it the people next door came over to find out what i was making. Never had that happen before.
