I am a 25 year old male currently deployed to Iraq as a Combat Medic with the U.S. ARMY. I began cooking shortly after joining the ARMY and found I had a natural ability/affinity for it. I am happily married to my wife Jessica and have two children, Alec 15, and Aaron 2. My cooking hero is Bobby Flay as we have similar cooking styles as far as our use of spices and herbs to give dishes a kick of heat. I admire Rachael Ray and frequently use the term she coined "EVOO". I constantly try to diversify my dishes and tweak recipes in my efforts to make *perfect* dishes. My favorite things to cook
My favorite things to cook are Italian dishes, along with anything you could possibly cook on the grill. I love to take ordinary dishes and turn them into extraordinary ones. I have a great talent for spices, herbs, and anything that can bring out the flavor of any dish.
My favorite family cooking traditions
Grilling/BBQ on the grill every week with my wife and kids while sipping on a Vodka/Red Bull Cocktail. Family dinners are the best, even if you just relax and watch TV(FOOD Network, lol), your together, and that is bliss.
My cooking triumphs
A truly masterful yet surprisingly simple spaghetti and meatballs. (With my own special touch of course!)

You would think all men were born to BBQ/Grill, but not true. When I first started to learn the art of BBQ, it seemed like I always messed something up. It was either the marinade, the sauce, too much heat, not enough. But through practice and perseverance, I became great.
