Reuben Pizza

Reviewed: Jan. 9, 2012
This was awesome! I did change a few things...first of all I used an already prepared thin pizza crust, just because I wanted to make something quick and easy. (that was just okay, but I'm sure if I had used actual dough it would have been much better) Since I had single serviing crusts, I pretty much eyeballed everything, but next time will go a little heavier on the thousand island. I couldn't find corned beef at my grocery store, so instead used beef cotto salami. The carraway seeds were the perfect finishing touch to make this pizza taste like an actual reuben sandwich! My husband loved it too, and he has never even had a reuben sandwich before. I would say that what I made was 4 four stars, but with the right ingredients this is easily a 5 star meal.

Cheddar Bay Biscuits

Reviewed: Sep. 26, 2011
I am so glad I found this recipe! My husband is always talking about how much he loves the ones from the seafood restaurant, so I absolutely had to try this as soon as I read it. He loved them, and brought some to his mom and brother and they were a hit! I followed the recipe exactly, and will make these again. Next time though, I will probably use more cheese and a little less garlic. Thank you so much!

Beef Nacho Casserole

Reviewed: Sep. 9, 2011
I do like to follow recipes exactly, but I did replace the mayo with sour cream and used taco seasoning instead of chili powder, because that is what I had on hand and it did sound good. I also used Mexican cheese mix...my hubby was talking to me while I was making this and as soon as I added the top layer of cheese, I realized that I forgot to add the top layer of nacho chips...so I improvised and added the leftover nachos to the finished product, which added just the right amount of crunch. Scrumptious!! My hubby and I loved this dish! It was so simple to make and it also keeps well in the fridge- I rarely like eating leftovers for lunch the next day but I devoured it. Thank you so much, I will probably make this a weekly thing! By the way, this is a great alternative for tacos or burritos if you like the taste, but don't like the mess!

Orzo with Parmesan and Basil

Reviewed: Jun. 22, 2011
I made this exactly how the recipe called, except I completely forgot to add salt and pepper. No need for it though, because the flavor was amazing. At first I thought it was way too much cheese because it was really gooey trying to mix everything together, but after letting it cool the flavor and consistency turned out perfect! I will be making this dish again. Very tasty and really easy to make.
