Love to cook by mixing and matching herbs and spices to enhance the flavor of the main dish I'm cooking. Example: Did you know a pinch of cinnamon will enhance the taste of chicken, especially dark meat? A pinch of Rosemary and Thyme will cancel each other out but the flavor combination is excilirating.
My favorite things to cook
Am a good cook but lousy when it comes to baking. The only thing I can bake with success is my 5 cheese and two meat sauce lasagna, and it's oh so moist.
My cooking triumphs
When my family member tells me the breakfast, lunch or dinner was good or when they serve themselves at least twice.
My cooking tragedies
Can't turn scrambled eggs over in one piece no matter what technique I use.

Good New Orleans Creole Gumbo
Made this recipe the first time a few weeks ago and it was AWESOME!The wife is not much into shrimp but once she pucked them out (more for me) she too thought it was a keeper. Being a New Yorker living in Texas and cooking this Gumbo is unheard of. But when it came to serving it to family and friends I had to fend them off from the pot to keep them from licking it. (licking their bowls was acceptable because they were served in to go plastic bowls). The only flaw is too bad I can't rate this a 10! Thank you so much for sharing this recipe.

Steve's Bourbon Buffalo Wing Sauce
Made this recipe along a couple more and loved it! My acquaintances gobbled ALL the wings in a blink of an eye. Nothing left except the bones and some were even chewing on the bones too! I made these sauces the day before and the bourbon taste was greatly enhanced. Once mixed with the wings the taste was still predominant but suttle. This recipe is a keeper and will make them again and again but this time will wait after two days to see how it turns out. I'm sure it'll be better.

Scott's Buffalo Wing Sauce
Awesome! Made this for some friends and it sure made an impression on them. They couldn't make up their mind what taste was predominant except it was very good. This will be one of many sauces I'm going to make when wings are cooked. GOOD JOB SCOTT!
