Christmas Morning Wife Saver (Breakfast Casserole)

I did some minor modifications like reducing the amount of bread in order to control carbs and it turned out beautifully. This is very close to my late mother's, from whom I never got her recipe. Thanks and Merry Christmas!

Downeast Maine Pumpkin Bread

This loaf is a big winner in our house. I added dried (orange flavoured) cranberries, hulled hempseed, and walnuts to the recipe for extra fruit and Omega-3 fatty acids. Delicious!!!

Pasta e Fagioli I

What a quick and easy recipe, proving that the best things in life are simple. Any small pasta will work - I used orzo and substituted navy beans, added diced celery, and a good dash of cayenne. A superb and hearty vegetarian recipe!

Tasteful Tahini Salad Dressing

This is a delicious and healthy dressing. I omitted the red wine vinegar and increased the water slightly. I used ground ginger instead of fresh and overall this is an excellent recipe, imho!

Marinated Mushrooms

Simple recipe - I substituted red onion, apple cider vinegar, and eliminated the MSG. We ate it the same night and the vinaigrette is good - gets better in the fridge. Very nice!

Spicy Crab Pasta

This is an excellent starter recipe that can easily be adapted, as the contributor mentioned. I used minced jar garlic, replaced half the butter with olive oil (how can you not eat crab and butter?!), and garnished with parmesan and fresh chiffonaded basil leaves. Bellissimo!
