Reviewed: Aug. 14, 2008
I didn't care for this. My husband liked it.. but not sure if it was because he was starving. One of my two kids liked it.It was easy to make, but was missing that special something. I will not make this again

Pot Roast in Foil

Yummy Yummy Yummy. I added a little garlic powder to the meat and a splash of worchestire sauce. I also peppered the meat first.

Awesome Slow Cooker Pot Roast

Reviewed: Nov. 17, 2004
I didn't care for this. It was tough and the color looked strange. The "pot roast in foil" recipe is much much better. 3 stars for ease of preparation.

Mushroom Pork Chops

Reviewed: Oct. 1, 2004
I tried this first using the original recipe, then again using tips from other reviewers (adding milk, rosemary, etc). I didn't care for it either time. It just didn't have that much flavor, and I had to put even more pepper on the final product to give it more "punch."

Sesame Beef

Reviewed: Sep. 29, 2004
Yummy! This was a tad on the sweet side, but we love sweet (especially my 6 year old) I did substitute one tbsp of the oil for Sesame oil. I served it with steamed white rice and brocolli. IT was really easy to prepare, too.. which is always a +++

Cheesy Ham and Hash Brown Casserole

Reviewed: May 20, 2004
I used southern style hasbrowns, and two cans of cream of chicken soup. I omitted the sour cream. I served this as a side dish with ham steaks. My family loved it. I will be making it again!

Candied Chicken Breasts

Reviewed: Mar. 2, 2004
This was really easy to prepare. However, from all the rave reviews I expected more. Maybe I did something wrong, but it wasn't all that I thought it would be. It was just "alright"

Tuscan Soup

Reviewed: Jan. 13, 2003
Wow! This was great!! Everyone loved it. My dad had 4 bowls!! IT was too easy. Like some others, I thought that the simple ingredients equated to lack of flavor, boy was I wrong! I will be making this again and again. Thanks!!

Lemon Poke Cake II

Reviewed: Nov. 27, 2002
Like the other reviewer, I used lemon cake with vanilla pudding (except I did mine on accident)- and it turned out great. A tad on the "too sweet side," but delicious nontheless! = )

Long Soup

Reviewed: Nov. 23, 2002
I wasn't too impressed with this recipe. Although it was easy to make, it lacked something. I added a few drops of sesame seed oil, and that helped a little.

Steamed Tuna Fish

Reviewed: Nov. 23, 2002
I would give this 10 stars if I could. My husband couldn't stop talking about it, and my father kept giving me the "thumbs up" during dinner (a major compliment) I did take the advice of the other reviewers and added less ginger (2 tablespoons) and it was delicious. Thanks, Janice!!!

Local Kine Wontons

Reviewed: Nov. 22, 2002
These were sooo delicious. After frying, be sure to lay the wontons on paper towels, so that the excess oil is absorbed. I will be making this again = )
