Sassy Tailgate Sandwiches

Reviewed: Aug. 20, 2012
These are amazing. I got so many rave reviews and the pan was gone very quickly. Like others said - do NOT use the entire tub of cream cheese. You need half at most. Also, I only used 1/3 cup butter and that was plenty. I will definitely be making these again.

Cinnamon Coffee Cake II

Reviewed: May 16, 2011
So easy and delicious. I didn't have butterscotch pudding so used 2 vanilla puddings. I omitted walnuts because of nut allergies

Buffalo Chicken Dip

Reviewed: May 2, 2011
I always get compliments on this dip. I would highly recommend using boneless, skinless chicken breasts versus canned chicken. I boil three chicken breasts in water until they were cooked, drain the water, and then shred with a fork. I have also made this in the crock-pot (low for 2-3 hours) and it tastes just as delicious (as long as you don't mind the orange color)

Quinoa and Black Beans

Reviewed: May 2, 2011
Delicious, healthy meal or side. The only thing I did differently was use one can of black beans versus two. My husband added shredded chicken breast to his, which he said made it even better.

Slow-Cooker Corned Beef and Cabbage

Reviewed: May 2, 2011
Good, easy recipe. Definitely don't cook this on High for 8 hours. I cooked it on high for the first 2 hours, then read other reviews and switched it to low for the last 6 hours. I used 3 cups of water and 12 oz beer (Left Hand Milk Stout - similar to Guinness). I felt like the potatoes were mushy, so next time I will put the meat on the bottom and potatoes, carrots, and onions on top. Also, be sure to trim the beef.

Ranch, Bacon, and Parmesan Pasta Salad

Reviewed: Jul. 18, 2010
Very easy to make. I diced red pepper instead of onion. Like other reviewers said, the pasta does soak up a lot of ranch. I added more ranch before serving.

Asian Lettuce Wraps

Reviewed: Aug. 13, 2009
These were excellent! As good as any I've had in restaurants. Used 2 tbsp hoison sauce instead of 1/4 cup, but followed the rest of the recipe as written.

Marie's Easy Slow Cooker Pot Roast

Reviewed: Apr. 11, 2009
This is so easy and delicious. I cook for 2 so I used a 2.5 pound roast and increased the carrots and celery. I also added 1/2 cup red wine and some worcestershire sauce.

Artichoke & Spinach Dip Restaurant Style

Reviewed: Sep. 29, 2008
This was amazing. I didn't have time to roast the garlic so I just minced it and added it to everything else, and that was just fine. I made the dip the night before and baked right before I needed it.

Scotcharoos

Reviewed: Mar. 30, 2008
Awesome! I bring the sugar and corn syrup to a slight boil and remove it right away (don't boil for too long or the bars will get hard). Then I add the peanut butter and mix it with the sugars. I doubled the chocolate chips and butterscotch chips so there was more frosting.

This was great and so easy! Everyone loved it and wanted the recipe. I also drizzled caramel over the oreo/whipped cream mixture and used french vanilla flavored cool whip.

Seven Layer Tex Mex Dip

Reviewed: Apr. 29, 2007
This was great and incredibly easy to make. It's easy to lighten it up by using reduced-fat mayo, sour cream, and cheese. I use refried black beans and they taste great in the dip.

Fantastic Black Bean Chili

Reviewed: Jan. 8, 2007
This was very good, but I read other reviews and changed things a bit. I can't imagine only using one can of tomatoes - it would be very thick! I used 3 cans of tomatoes and it was perfect. I also only used 2 cans of black beans and I added extra chili powder, pepper, and garlic. I sauteed the garlic and onions in 1 tbsp of olive oil for extra flavor. Overall it was very good, but read other reviews before making it!

Chocolate Peanut Butter Cup Cookies

These were delicious!! I like extra chocolate, so I added 1/2 cup of the chocolate/peanut butter swirl chips. I can't even count the number of people who asked for the recipe.

Green Grog

Reviewed: Nov. 4, 2005
This is a great drink. I made it for a Halloween party and it was a hit. After reading others' reviews, I decided to double the rum, which was a really good idea because 750 mL isn't enough (at least for a bunch of college students)
