Waffles I

Reviewed: Feb. 7, 2013
This is a great go to recipe for waffles. I didn't have enough white flour so I used 1 cup white flour and 1 cup whole wheat flour. I also used 1/2 cup of melted butter instead of oil. We have the Belgium waffle style Cuisine Art and they came out the best at it's highest setting, 6.

THE Pasta Salad

Reviewed: Jul. 7, 2012
There needs to be a sweet compliment. Sweet Gerkin pickles or Apples were suggested. I used mozzarella cheese instead of Swiss and Prosciutto instead of ham. The ham for texture reasons and it being less salty might be better the next time. This has potential. We had no peas unfortunately, that may have helped.

Spicy Honey-Roasted Chicken

Reviewed: Apr. 24, 2012
This was a disappointment. We expected a very flavourful chicken with perhaps a kind of sauce from the jus but the chicken ended up burning due to the honey. It was a pretty normal roasted chicken in the end.

Adobo Sirloin

Reviewed: Aug. 15, 2011
Loved this recipe! Used 2 limes instead of 1. There is quite a kick to it upon swallowing. Don't let the smell of the Adobo sauce turn you off. It is yummy!

BBQ Pork for Sandwiches

Reviewed: Jun. 14, 2011
I really liked it but Nick is not a huge fan of pork. This made great leftovers for sandwiches and it was super easy to make as it just sat in broth all day then ripped apart and tossed in BBQ sauce.
