Pesto

Reviewed: Sep. 25, 2002
This recipe is so quick and easy! I loved it! I skipped the parsley but kept everything else the same. We had loads of basil in our garden and my husband made tons of this (without cheese), then froze in ice cube trays. We now have a bag of ready-made pesto cubes in our freezer and just need to add cheese when we cook with it!

This is excellent!I took the suggestion from another reviewer to make my own pesto using the "Pesto" recipe. My husband loved this dish and it was very easy to make!

Best Bruschetta Ever

Reviewed: Sep. 25, 2002
I used roma tomatoes and fresh basil, as I don't think dried would have been as appetizing. I didn't add the parmesan until right before cooking. I did add a splash of balsamic vinegar which seemed to enhance the flavors. Excellent recipe! My husband and I ate this all up in one sitting!!

Great and easy way to make chicken! I love garlic, so this recipe is just right for me! In fact, I think I added a bit more than the recipe called for.

Pizza Dough I

My husband swears by this recipe! He is the cook in our family and used to make pizza dough in our breadmaker. This far surpasses that! EXCELLENT!

Made this and it was a hit! I didn't change anything. I used Granny Smith apples (6 of them). I will definitely make this again!

Southern Living Magazine's Chicken-Fried Steak

Reviewed: Sep. 25, 2002
I was craving chicken fried steak and instead of buying the frozen stuff, I decided to try to make it on my own. What a great recipe! I used about 1 cup of oil instead of what is called for (even 1 cup is a bit much). The gravy was not impressive, however. It was very bland and not what I was expecting, but I will be making this again, just with a different gravy.

I absolutely love this recipe! My mom requested this recipe after making it for her during a visit. I use green pepper instead of red, but other than that, no changes whatsoever! This is definitely a family favorite!

Lemonade Pie I

Reviewed: Sep. 25, 2002
This is a wonderful recipe and truly is refreshing on a hot day! I do, however, agree with another reviewer in that it was a bit tart. My husband didn't like it as much because of that, but I still thought it was very tasty.

Restaurant-Style Chicken Scampi

Reviewed: Sep. 25, 2002
I thought this was very good. A bit bland, but good overall. I still think that the restaurant's sauce is much better however.

Bacon Wrapped Chicken

I love this recipe! The sauce is amazing! You can definitely tell that this is not for the weight watcher, however. We serve it over egg noodles.

We took this to a church picnic and everyone raved about it. It takes some time to chop up everything, but it is well worth it. Very delicious!

Honey Garlic Ribs

Reviewed: Sep. 25, 2002
We love this recipe! It is now a family favorite! I cook it in a corningware dish (covered), because it seemed a bit dry on the cookie sheet. We serve it over rice and use the leftover juices over it as well to add some flavor to the rice.
