My mom made a version of this 25+ years ago when I was growing up. 1 bag no yolk egg noodles, cooked chicken cut up I use 3 large breasts and shred/chunk it (u decide how much, some people like more chicken than others). 2 cans whole mushrooms or saute some fresh ones, 4 cans cream of chicken soup and 2 cans milk. After you boil and drain the noodles return them to the pot. In separate bowl mix the soup and milk well. Add the soup mixture, mushrooms and chicken to the noodles. Pour into roaster or large 9x13. Cover and bake at 350 for 1 hour then uncovered for 15 min. Take out add shredded cheddar cheese and crushed potato chips to the top for and bake for 15 minutes. My friends always begged for more. My mom even created a vegetarian version for my best friend!
