Working two jobs and planning my August wedding has left me little time to be in the kitchen, but I still hold fast to my favourite hobby; cooking and baking whenever I can for whoever is around. I love cooking everything from stir-frys to roasts, but my absolute favourite thing to make is bread. I love helping my mother with her Christmas baking, even though it lessens with every year, it seems. This past Christmas, I made a baked sweet potato and parmesean cannelloni with a tomato-cream sauce and everyone went back for more. That same Christmas, I tried for a slow-cooked shredded beef with orange and ginger, but all the liquid evaporated, causing it to resemble (and probably taste like) charcoal.
