Slow Cooker Cilantro Lime Chicken

It tasted ok. Would add the cilantro in at the very end next time rather than cooking it for so long.

Famous Pork Chops

I really enjoyed these. They came out perfect for me. I put the butter around the pork chops, not on top at all. I also used thick pork chops and butterflied them.

Zesty Slow Cooker Chicken Barbecue

I used Sweet Bay Ray's BBQ sauce...can't really go wrong with that. I just boiled the chicken and shredded it. cooked it for a few minutes to heat through. I saw this as a feature recipe and it sounded too good to wait until the next day.

Peppy Macaroni

From the 2 year old to a 12 year old, all 4 kids I served this to liked it. It was easy and a different idea for lunch. I thought it was ok, but it pleased the child's pallet!

Quick Weekday Pasta

I added some salt and onion powder to the mix. I accidentally added the 1/2 cup of cheese to the mix then topped it with more cheese. I liked it. My 2 year old loved it.

2-Step Skillet Chicken Broccoli Divan

Fast, easy. Not too shabby. Added some thyme as suggested by other reviewers. Would probably make some white rice to serve it over next time. I missed the rice that is in the traditional dish.

Ranch Chicken Tacos

My family didn't like this at all. Could have used another 2 tsp of taco seasoning and it would have been ok for me, not even my not picky husband only ate one taco. Was very bland. Even my son who eats ranch with virtually everyone didn't like it.

Rosemary Ranch Chicken Kabobs

We liked this.it didn't taste like ranch dressing at all.I did only use 2tbs of worchestershire as I ran out. I might also reduce the salt to 1tsp

Restaurant-Style Coleslaw I

I doubled this recipe so i could take it to a potluck with the neighbors. I used the BIG, giant bag of coleslaw mix from Sam' club. I didn't have buttermilk so I substituted sour cream. I added celery seed as I just like the way it looks in slaw! Also added extra kosher salt to my taste.

Fresh Strawberry Upside Down Cake

I've had this recipe in my box for quite awhile anticipating it. I was disappointed. My SIL said it best..."it tastes like strawberry jam on cake" would have been better off just making a poke cake. It was edible, but nothing special. It was just as pretty as the picture and came out of the pan perfectly. I served it slightly warm and with vanilla ice cream as suggested...still, it was no ones' favorite and we all love strawberries. It wasn't a hit with our family. Sorry.

Vegan Bean Taco Filling

I halved the recipe. It was the perfect amount for my husband and I. There was a bit too much cumin for our taste, so I would reduce that by half next time. I put the mixture in a flour tortilla with some mexican rice, rolled it and fried it so that I had a chimichanga while he had soft tacos. Served it with lettuce. It was great. Didn't miss meat at all!

Beef and Bean Chimichangas

I liked these fine. Used TacoBell hot sauce. The kids didn't like them. Would leave the corn out next time to try and entice the kids to eat them.

Donut Muffins

Used buttermilk instead of milk, just because I had it on hand. Would add vanilla next time( took it out and then forgot to put it in), but was quick and easy and a tasty alternative for breakfast besides the old standby pancakes.

Baked Soy Lemon Chops

Took other reviewer's advice and used 1/4 C soy sauce and 1/4 water then followed recipe. It was just okay for us...I found myself wishing I added sugar and made a teriyaki sauce instead, but my 18 month old loved it.

Sunday Morning Lemon Poppy Seed Pancakes

I made these as another reviewer suggested and left out the vinegar and used 2 TBS of lemon juice rather than one. I also had to omit the poppy seeds as I didn't have any on hand. I put butter on them and dusted with powdered sugar just like the photo and topped with fresh strawberries. Would love to try with a flavored syrup such as blueberry or with some lemon curd and whipped cream. My picky 3 yr old ate 5 pancakes himself.

Streusel Topped Pumpkin Pie by EAGLE BRAND®

Made this a few times now. It is quick and easy and a super great pie. I love the topping. This is my Thanksgiving pie. Its so much tastier than plain pumpkin pie in my opinion and hasn't disappointed yet!

Coconut Poke Cake

I followed the recipe for the cake exactly and then followed the advise of others. I made the cake the day before I wanted to serve it, covered it and put in the fridge. The next day shortly before I wanted to serve it I made fresh whipped cream to ice the cake and topped with the coconut. It was a hit. Very moist. Mine didn't fall apart like other reviewer's did. It cut very well and looked very pretty.
