Cheesy Broccoli and Vegetable Soup

Reviewed: Sep. 30, 2011
This soup is DELICIOUS! I made it last night for my husband and we both loved it! The only thing I changed was I didn't add the mixed vegetables, but I added about 2 lbs. of cut up russet potatoes. I did everything else as written. Thanks so much for this yummy recipe this will definitely be made again, and again! This is a keeper.

Soft Chocolate Cookies

Reviewed: Dec. 14, 2011
Very tasty! Easy, and everyone loved them. I added some mini chocolate chips to the mix before refrigerating it, then baked them about 4 minutes longer then recommended because I made them a little bigger than it says too. They were very rich, and tasted like brownies. Lots of flavor but you'll need some milk to drink with these because they are VERY rich. lol.

Quick and Easy Chicken Noodle Soup

Reviewed: Dec. 14, 2011
DELICIOUS! This soup was simply amazing! Very simple and quick but it has so much flavor you would never guess it was so simple. The only thing I did differently was I used a rotisserie chicken, tore up to make it even easier. Also, I added one 24 oz. bag of the Reames brand homestyle egg noodles you find in the freezer section at the store. Hope this helped and I highly recommend this recipe!

Tater Tot Casserole III

Reviewed: Jan. 1, 2012
This was a pretty good tater tot casserole, better then the last recipe I tried on here but still wasn't very memorable. I made mine a bit differently, this is what I did. I used 1 lb. of hamburger and while I browned it I used salt, pepper, onion powder, garlic powder and some steak seasoning (Lawrys to be exact) I drained the meat, added the one can of mushroom soup and 1/2 cup of milk and that seemed to be the perfect consistency for 1 lb. of hamburger. I added one can of corn instead of green beans, and mixed about half a bag of shredded cheddar cheese to it, topped with tater tots, baked for a half hour, took it out and topped it with the rest of the bag of cheddar and then baked for about another 10 mins until the cheese was melted. It wasn't a bad casserole but it just needs a little more 'spunk' than the recipe lists. Over all, I'd say give it a try but add your own seasoning, and plenty of them. (:

To Die For Blueberry Muffins

Reviewed: Jan. 8, 2012
These weren't very good. They were pretty dry, and I even cooked them under the time suggested to try to keep them moist. The muffin itself is pretty bland and since I used fresh blueberries as suggested they weren't very sweet. I would suggest letting the berries sit over night in sugar, and adding some spices like cinnamon, nutmeg, a little more sugar and maybe some vanilla to the muffin mixture maybe that would help it? Not sure. I might try this one more time but add spices and try setting the berries over night and see how they turn out. If I do I will edit this and let you all know how it turns out.

Bacon Wrapped Smokies

Reviewed: Jan. 10, 2012
These are pretty good, you just have to make sure there's plenty of brown sugar because that sweetness is what makes these really good. My only complaint (which is expected from bacon) is just that the bacon doesn't crisp really like I like it, its kind of 'floppy' and fatty because its being baked and not fried. I know there's not much you can do to change it with this type of recipe though so I just pick away the really fatty pieces and the problem is solved.

Cream Cheese Jalapeno Hamburgers

Reviewed: Jan. 15, 2012
These were pretty good burgers, but they didn't work for us. The middle wouldn't cook so we had to take them apart and cook them as regular hamburgers then we topped them with the cream cheese/jalapeno mixture and bacon. Also we seasoned the meat with simple salt and pepper. It was pretty good but I think it would have been better if they would have cooked all the way with the mixture inside.

Best Brownies

Reviewed: Feb. 8, 2012
DELICIOUS! These brownies were super rich, gooey, and and very chocolately! Perfect for when you need that chocolate fix. I should note that I used about 1 tablespoon of milk in replacement for the honey because I didn't have any honey on hand and it turned out great just make sure you give it time to cool so the frosting isn't soup it needs to thicken up. Overall very good brownie in texture and flavor I was very pleased and wasn't expecting such an easy and delicious recipe. (: Thanks!

Mini Cheesecakes

Reviewed: Aug. 26, 2012
PERFECT CHEESECAKE! This was honestly probably the best cheesecake I have ever tasted. I expected it to be decent, but it beat my expectations for sure! I recommend this recipe to anyone who likes cheesecake, you won't be disappointed! The only thing I suggest is to use Philly cream cheese the store brand doesn't cut it, I've made it with store brand and name brand and it deff. makes a difference. And make sure the cream cheese is room temperature or it just gets chunky not smooth. This is deff. a keeper for me!

Sassy Tailgate Sandwiches

Reviewed: Sep. 18, 2012
Not my taste, too salty and I didn't like the taste of the gruyere cheese. My hubby didn't love them but didn't complain but I won't be making these again. Also I didn't like the sauce on top of the sandwiches because I hate soggy bread and that's exactly what happened.

Cheesy Pork Chop Casserole

Reviewed: Feb. 5, 2013
This wasn't bad, but wasn't as good as I thought it would be either. Pretty much taste like box au gratin potatoes. And the cook time was way off we had to cook it much longer then it said too.
