Exquisite Pizza Sauce

Great sauce! We use it for our pizzas on the grill and it really is perfect. I use a small can of tomato sauce and all of the other seasonings....very tasty!

Tiny Pecan Tarts

ok, not great. They need more filling. The crust was good and flaky, but overall needs more flavor somehow. I don't think that I will make these again.

Cha Cha's White Chicken Chili

We loved this recipe! It was so easy to make and definitely will make again. I did do some of the recommended changes. I cooked the chicken breasts in a pan with ranch dressing packets. I used one 7 oz green chilis and didn't use the jalapeños since my family doesn't like things too hot. I used low sodium broth and a can of cream of chicken. I put in a can or two of tomatoes with mild green chillis. I did grind up one can of beans to make a little thicker. I added one can of hominy too for a little added flavor and a can of corn too. I let it simmer for a few hours and then I topped the chili with a little bit of cheese on top of each bowl. Everyone LOVED it!! Mexican corm bread was a good addition to the meal too. Thanks!

Sangria! Sangria!

Really great sangria!! I didn't have all of the brandy, but it still came out perfectly. You definitely need to add a touch of ginger ale on the top. I will definitely make it again!

So easy and delicious! I cut the butter down to 1/4c and just sprinkled my sugar/cinnamon shaker for the topping. It was still wonderful.

Marinated Pork Tenderloin

This recipe is so delicious!! It is so tender and flavorful. I didn't do it on the grill, but seared it in the frying pan and then baked it for approx 30 mins at 350 until it reached 170 degrees. I did what some of the other people suggested and added onion, garlic and 1/2 of the cinnamon. It is so easy to put together and then used it for the sauce!!( a WONDERFUL addition to the meat) I boiled it for the 5 mins and added 1 TBSP of cornstarch....perfect!! The pineapple casserole on this site goes great with this dish too!!

Mexican Style Shredded Pork

Everyone couldn't stop raving about the pork at our Cinqo de Mayo party! For a 7 lb. pork butt, I did one bottle of the chipolte sauce, 1 LG can and 1 sm can of diced chiles, 1 bottle of beer ( I think it was boston lager) the salt and garlic, and a major handful of fresh cilantro, and put it in the oven on the slow cook method. That stayed in there for about 10 hours. It came out perfectly tender and flaking apart!! I added some cumin per some of the others suggestions after the pork was shredded. Then I just put it in the fridge for a few hours and warmed it before everyone came over.....Delicious!!

Mexican Cornbread Salad

This was delicious!! To make this a little lighter, I made my own dressing w/the ranch packet, greek yogurt and 1% milk. I cut the cheese down to just sprinkling it on top and didn't use the bacon. I did use the corn with the red and green pepper in it too. It was so moist and full of flavor! A definite keeper...

Downeast Maine Pumpkin Bread

One word, AMAZING!! The reviews are totally on track with this recipe. I did follow some of the suggestions with half apple sauce and oil. I cut the sugar by only adding 2 cups and did use 1/2 brown sugar and the other cup white. I added about 2 cups of chocolate chips and did add the spices in the batter AND in the dry ings too. I also added a tsp. of vanilla too. Everyone raved about how yummy and moist it was!! I can't wait to make it again!

Bruschetta Chicken Bake

Very tasty!! You can't get much easier than this one too. It was put together in no time at all. My family loved it. I did use one can of the fire roasted tomatoes and one can of stewed tomatoes with the juices. I didn't need to add any more liquid. It was yummy with a good salad, and french bread!
