Pecan Sour Cream Pound Cake
I recommend using organic sugar which has a milder sweetness without the harshness of bleached white sugar. I juice organic lemons/oranges for the glaze, organic fruit just has more flavor and if you haven't tried any you are missing out. Same for the pecans. Try fresh, organic. If you are going to take the time to prepare a recipe that is labor-intensive, fresh flour and the best ingredients make a difference. This is a delicious, moist and firm cake recipe that my mother-in-law would have had in her composition notebook. She taught me to cook and she would have loved this recipe. It's old-fashioned goodness. Bless you.

Apple Butter Spice Cake
Excellent, moist... a great way to use up excess apple butter just sitting in the 'fridge. Big hit at school function, everybody wanted the recipe! Thanks!

Thanksgiving Leftover Casserole
This is an excellent recipe with FLAVOR which I'm always looking for. The recipe is not enough to feed my larger family so I augmented it. I parboiled 1 lb. of broccoli and added that to the sauce with an additional can of cream of chicken soup. I used a 12 oz. can of condensed milk instead of the 5 oz. I used 2 cups of turkey. I sprinkled additional cheddar cheese atop the mashed potatoes with some crushed up Ritz crackers and the 2 T. butter. Delicious, complete meal! 3 kids ages 8,6 and 4 ate it up and the broccoli wasn't even noticeable in the sauce! Mom and Dad on a budget liked it too. :D
