Quick Yeast Rolls

Reviewed: Jun. 1, 2014
Fantastic! Make these as written and you won't have an issue. Yes the dough will be sticky hence the use of a muffin tin. They are really yummy with peanut butter!

No-Fuss Chicken

Reviewed: Dec. 20, 2012
For those saying it's not a No Fuss meal....well it really is. I cook from scratch every single day and this is by far the EASIEST meal I make. When I put a roast in the crock pot I do the same thing with the roast in a skillet that the recipe for this has us do with chicken. I brown it. Takes maybe 10 minutes if even that.

Lemon Meringue Pie III

Reviewed: Nov. 21, 2012
So far so good! I put it in the oven a few minutes ago to brown. A note about the cornstarch issues people were having. It will not form a paste. Mine was thickened but not a paste. It came out fine. I did exactly like it said in the instructions. As long as you cook the filling properly it WILL thicken. You can't rush it and you absolutely must make sure it is clear before you add the yolk and lemon juice. The meringue was very pretty and I am hoping it sealed properly.

Cheesecake Supreme

Reviewed: Nov. 16, 2012
I follow Heislord5's advice on cook time. Comes out BEAUTIFUL! People ask for it time and time again! So delicious. I also make homemade brownies and use them as the crust instead of graham crackers. As soon as they are done I scoop the brownies into my springform pan, pack them down, pour in the cake batter and bake! VOILA!

Lemon Muffins

Reviewed: Nov. 7, 2012
The only alteration I made was I used lemon juice instead of zest. I didn't have any fresh lemons. I added the juice after I added the liquids so I wouldn't curdle the milk. The next time I think I'll use buttermilk instead of regular white.

Extreme Chocolate Cake

Reviewed: Dec. 31, 2011
The cake and the frosting were absolutely amazing! I used a bundt pan and cut the cooled cake in half. It was so rich I almost couldn't finish my slice!!!! Eating it with a glass of strawberry zinfandel on New Year's Eve right now :)

Fudge Truffle Cheesecake

Reviewed: Nov. 5, 2011
Instead of vanilla wafers I make brownies from a recipe on here and press them into the pan while they are still hot...then I fill as instructed and bake. Absolutely phenomenal. And I drizzle with melted white chocolate :)

Just made these, AMAZING! And I did what another rater did and used oil instead of margarine, very very good! I can't wait for my kids to have these in the morning with an egg in a frame!

Amish White Bread

Reviewed: Oct. 29, 2011
Very good bread! I usually use my bread machine to mix and rise dough, but did it all by hand with this bread. Absolutely easy and rewarding. I just had major surgery and was able to make this with no issues that is how easy it is! Just a note, I only ended up adding 5 cups of bread flour instead of 6. I also reduced the sugar to 1/4 cup. It took a little longer to rise after putting into the loaf pans but so far it looks fabulous! Going to do a cream wash on top to make it shiny and pretty before I bake it. Also made enough to make a little pumpkin shaped loaf for my kiddos since Halloween is on Monday!

Rhubarb and Strawberry Pie

Reviewed: May 6, 2011
I did what Jennifer said, it so far looks amazing! This is my husband's favorite pie and he hasn't had one since before we were married. He was thrilled when I announced I would be making one for dessert tonight. My children are just as excited. Note to others, always make sure you read all the reviews for any revisions. A lot of times the revisions improve the recipe a LOT.
