Chantal's New York Cheesecake

Reviewed: Oct. 13, 2011
I gave this recipe a 4 because of the issues I had with it. I was disappointed because I followed the recipe to a T and it rose above the pan (I used a 9" springform) and cracked A LOT. I had a huge 1 inch deep X in my cheesecake. I've made cheesecakes before and this has never happened. However, the taste was DELICIOUS. I will attempt this recipe again because it was that delicious. Hopefully, I have better luck this time.

This was quick and tasty. Easy enough to throw together last minute with some crackers. I will definitely be making this again.

Chocolate Chip Cheese Ball

Delicious and so easy to make! Brought this to a party and it was a huge hit. I rolled it in crushed oreos and mini choc chips and paired it with chocolate graham crackers. Will definitely be making this again and again!

Restaurant-Style Buffalo Chicken Wings

Reviewed: Feb. 6, 2012
Delicious! I refridgerated them for 4 hours and fried them in peanut oil. Wait to add the sauce until right before serving so that they stay crispy. After a while they will lose their crispiness, but still taste delicious. They got rave reviews. I will definitely be making these again.

Hot Artichoke and Spinach Dip II

Reviewed: Oct. 30, 2011
I loved this dip! I've been trying to find the perfect spinach/artichoke dip and this is it. Definitely going to be my go-to recipe from now on. I took some suggestions from other reviews and used sour cream instead of mayo and also mixed the mozzarella in with everything, then sprinkled a little on top. I also used low-fat cream cheese, mozzarella & sour cream and it still tasted amazing. I can't wait to try it with full fat ingredients!

Raspberry Cheesecake Stuffed French Toast

Reviewed: Jun. 21, 2011
DELICIOUS!!! I used blueberry preserves in place of raspberry puree (quicker and cheaper). You do not need a whole cup if you do this. I also used a loaf of italian bread and cut it myself (makes a bigger portion), but the french bread is good too. This french toast is to die for! The smell alone is delicious!

Pumpkin Pie French Toast

Reviewed: Dec. 26, 2011
Delicious and easy. I used fat free milk instead of half & half because that's what I had on hand. It tasted great and made the recipe healthier. I also sprinkled the walnuts on top after it was done rather than putting it in the mix. I served them with the "Cinnamon Syrup" recipe on here. Will definitely make these again!

Chuck's Favorite Mac and Cheese

Reviewed: Aug. 28, 2011
I expected this mac & cheese to be a lot better than it was since it had such great ratings. It was SO dry. I had even added some milk before I baked it. Aside from the dryness, the taste was just average.

Gooey Butter Cookies

Delicious and so quick & easy. You only need one bowl! They were light & fluffy with a delicious butter flavor. I followed the directions exactly & sifted some powdered sugar on top after they were done to make them pretty. Enjoy!

Marinade for Chicken

Reviewed: Feb. 16, 2012
Very tasty. I used canola oil instead of veg and reduced the amount to make it healthier. I marinated it for 24 hrs. Will make this again.

White Chocolate Macadamia Cranberry Dreams

Reviewed: Dec. 26, 2011
Delicious! My husband said they taste like the Pepperidge Farm Sausalito cookies, but with cranberries. You could also do these without the craisins to make some amazing white chocolate macadamia nut cookies. Yummm!

Jalapeno Popper Spread

Reviewed: Dec. 26, 2011
Declicious! This is going to be my new go-to dip recipe. I did not make any changes to the mix. The only thing I changed was sprinkling panko break crumbs on top along with shredded parmesan cheese (instead of grated). Everyone loved it. I cannot wait to make it again!

Cinnamon Syrup

Reviewed: Dec. 26, 2011
Very easy and delicious. It's a lot sweeter than your typical maple syrup. Goes perfectly with the "Pumpkin Pie French Toast Recipe" on here.

Greek Orzo Salad

Reviewed: Jul. 5, 2012
Great summer recipe! I used sliced olives and will use halved grape or cherry tomatoes next time. The artichoke juice is definitely necessary to keep the salad moist.

Easy Sugar Cookies

Reviewed: Feb. 15, 2012
Easy, basic sugar cookie. They are a soft cookie. I used 2 tsp of vanilla to give it a little more flavor. I rolled them in balls and pushed them down a little so that I could add sugar and sprinkles on top. I also used food coloring to make them pink for vday. Mine were ready in 8 min. Even if they look like they might need another minute, take them out!

Crustless Cranberry Pie

Very good and very easy. Tastes great warm with vanilla ice cream. Yummm! I took the suggestions of other reviewers and did 1/2 vanilla and 1/2 almond extract. I also made the walnut/brown sugar topping and sprinkled it on top before baking.

Caramel Apple Pie II

Reviewed: Nov. 28, 2011
Delicious! I used granny smith apples and a pie crust recipe from this website. I did not alter the recipe at all. Make sure you peel the apples (it doesn't say so in the recipe). This is a keeper. Enjoy!

Marinated Baked Pork Chops

Reviewed: Nov. 4, 2011
Very tasty and very easy. I used boneless pork chops. It comes out as a bbq type sauce that I'm sure would taste great on chicken too. The only change I made was using canola oil insteal of veg. I also used a little less oil than asked for to make it a bit healthier. I used a meat thermometer and it was ready in about 40 min rather than the 60min in the recipe. The recipe doesn't make that much sauce, so I recommend doubling it.

Iced Pumpkin Cookies

Reviewed: Oct. 30, 2011
These are a great fall cookie. They are soft and cake-like and easy to make. Perfect blend of pumpkin and spice. I used a cream cheese glaze instead of the one given and it went perfectly with these cookies. And they definitely need the frosting. Too plain by themselves. This recipe is definitely a keeper!
