Roast Sticky Chicken-Rotisserie Style

I didn't marinate due to time, but the flavor was good and chicken was moist. Not a WOW, but good. I also increased temp as suggested and decreased time. The kids actually ate some of the skin, which they usually don't do.

Make Ahead French Toast

This was good, but not great. I did have slices sticking to each other, and I layered using a whole loaf of french bread. I had sprayed the pan with PAM prior to starting, but it didn't seem to matter. I let the dish stand 5 minutes before serving. Advice would be to remove ALL the slices at that time. I left some stay in the pan since we weren't eating it all at once and when we went back to getting a second helping it was even worse because the topping had turned into a carmel or even toffee-like substance once it cooled making it even harder to remove. I will try this again, maybe in a glass lasagna dish and will work with the amount of liquids.

One Bowl Chocolate Fudge

No fail! Used a bag of semi-sweet morsels and my leftover chopped walnuts. Had only 10 minutes to make it in and did it with time to spare. Excellent!

Famous Pork Chops

A hit with the whole family - 2 that normally don't like breading at all! I cut down on the butter a bit, and probably would only use 1/4 cup next time. My new favorite pork chop recipe!!!

Three Ingredient Peanut Butter Cookies

Pretty good! I added a little flour and vanilla and used 1/2 crunchy and 1/2 natural creamy (just nuts, no added ingredients) and they turned out well! Just after they came out of the oven the kids popped chocolate chips into them like smiley faces for fun.

Grocery Store Frosting

Loved this! Was as good as store bought. I had to add more water than the recipe called for and was nervous at first about it but as the recipe called for, it would barely spread. I mixed for the full amount of time and added food coloring for a cake. Will make this again!

Old Fashioned Hard Candy

This was fun to try, but didn't turn out great for us. Powdered sugar ended up coating the candy and making it whitish, and our thermometer was off making it hard. Check your thermometer before starting and see at what temp it shows boiling and then adjust recipe.

Eileen's Spicy Gingerbread Men

Wow, did I do something wrong or what? Dough was awful and crumbly. Tried adding water and then tried adding flour. Continued adding flour to try to get it to roll without sticking. Cookies were flat and hard after baking. The spice was nice, but I will use another recipe I found here and add more spice to it. Won't make these again.

Classic Gingerbread Cutouts

Loved this recipe! I just tried another posted here that turned out awful and needed chilling and fell to pieces when I rolled. So I gave this one a try. Didn't sift the flour, just dumped it in. And only other change was that I used nutmeg instead of ginger. Will use this recipe over and over again!! Thank you!

Snow Flakes

Didn't have orange zest, used mint extract and tinted the dough with dye. The consistency for the cookie press was PERFECT! Will use this again!!! Also, have used only butter and it is perfect. Instead of orange or mint, you can use almond extract too for a more traditional taste. Kids love these!

Chocolate Chip Pumpkin Cookies

These are quick and easy to make. However, they are very bland and cakelike. I increased to 3t. pumpkin pie spice and also drizzled an icing over them. I made half with nuts and half without and thought the ones with nuts were much better with the texture and flavor. Not sure if I would make these again especially with the full cup of oil.

Cream Wafers

These were very good, light and airy and melt in your mouth. It makes alot, which is good because they will go fast. My only complaint was that it was very time consuming. I used a pastry bag to pipe in the frosting and that helped speed things up too.
