Halibut with Rice Wine

OMG, best recipe ever! I used this on the hake I had from Costco, and served it with some Sapporo Ichiban Chow Mein and HEB Select shelled edamame, and it was WONDERFUL and so easy! I don't usually take the time to comment on the recipes, but this was so, so good (I'm glad I made 2 extra servings for lunch tomorrow!!!)

Grilled Pork Chops with Balsamic Caramelized Pears

This recipe is the best! So easy to make! I'm hoping I can lightly cook the pear and onions ahead and freeze, since I still have about 300 pears to figure out what to do with!

Fresh Pear Pie

This pie was so easy to make (I used my local HEB brand prepared crust), and when I made one, EVERYONE LOVED IT!! Since I had so many pears from my tree, I made 6 more for freezing and gifts. I am hoping that they are as good in the disposable pie pans as it was baked in my glass pan, though. I'm a little worried about that. If they are, I am going to make more of them to freeze!!

Spring Salad with Fennel and Orange

I have never had a better salad, ever!! It was so delicious !! The only things I had to change were that I, being a fresh basil nut, couldn't stop at just ONE tablespoon! I think I put about a quarter cup! And I only had the thinly sliced almonds you find at Costco. Also I like my salad shaken up in a huge cake container so the dressing gets really well blended. That was such a great salad, I'm going to serve it at one of my holiday dinners. Thank you!!!

Broiled Grouper Parmesan

I made this with some fresh grouper I got at the market, and it was so good, I had no leftovers for lunch the next day! (I normally make 4 servings for the 2 of us every night because I love leftovers). It was super easy to make, too! I didn't have any tabasco, so I substituted sriracha.
