Slow Cooker Pork Chops II

Reviewed: Nov. 18, 2014
Made it exactly as stated in the recipe. Meat was on the dry side. Seasonings just okay. Wasn't bad but will not make again - family agreed.

Southwestern Caesar Salad

Reviewed: Nov. 20, 2013
I think this is a great recipe! Made it exactly - omitting the anchovy's. It does make a lot of dressing - enough to use more than once.

2-Step Inside-Out Chicken Pot Pie

Reviewed: Mar. 4, 2013
Very good base recipe that requires some tweaking depending upon your individual taste. I used 2 cans of the regular condensed cream of chicken soup, added thinly sliced carrots, peas and corn and a little chopped onion and about 1 1/2 tsp celery salt. I also added a little chicken broth to thin the mixture. It was a hit!!!

Tartar Sauce I

Reviewed: Feb. 13, 2013
I made this recipe exactly as written with 1 TBSP of lemon jucie. I found it to be way too bland - added another 2+ TBSP of relish for it to have any kind of flavor.

Pasta with Peas and Sausage

Reviewed: Jan. 22, 2013
Very good. I doubled the sausage and added 1 pint of cream. I also added 3 TBSP of Parmesan cheese to cream sauce. I did not cook the garlic in the oil. I cooked it with the sausage. I also drained the sausage after browning and then returned it to the pot and then added the remaining ingredients.

Cheesy Sausage Pasta

Reviewed: Dec. 6, 2012
Well received in my household! I doubled the recipe by doubling all the ingredients except the pasta - kept that at 16 ounces. I used 1 pound of Italian sausge and one pound of Bob Evans orginal sausage. I also did drain the sausage after cooking it - a must. Also, I did use freshly grated Parmesan cheese - not the prepackaged stuff.

Garlic Chicken

Reviewed: Aug. 5, 2012
Made this exactly as stated in the recipe - making sure I used 2 tsp of crushed garlic. (It took quite a few cloves to get to that amount.) It was great. The flavor was not overpowering - chicken was flavorful and moist.

Creamy Chicken on Linguine

Reviewed: Apr. 2, 2012
This is a keeper. Should have read the reviews prior to making. Next time I will double the sauce and use chicken tenders as many reviewers suggested. It was enjoyed by all.

A question - wouldn't you roll this loaf in the cornmeal?

Slow Cooker Pulled Pork

Reviewed: Jun. 27, 2011
I doubled it. Used a pork butt rather than a tenderloin. It was perfect and so easy. I used Sweet Baby Ray's bbq sauce. Will definitely make again.

Grilled Chicken with Herbs

Reviewed: Jun. 27, 2011
Followed recipe exactly. It simply was not very good. Boring - not much different than marinading in a bottled salad dressing.
