Spinach Quiche

Reviewed: Mar. 15, 2007
This is excellent.. have made it many times... I add some garlic and I use six blend Italian cheese instead of the cheddar.. or you can mix them.. I think it reheats great.. I have also used fresh mushrooms and when I do I lightly sautee them with the garlic and onions before I add to the recipe.... a keeper... great for low carb diets and very filling

very good, I too tweaked just a bit to suit my own taste. I added salt, pepper, garlic and fresh basil and oregano. Also added fresh spinach leaves and a few frozen (thawed) peas. Yummmm thanks...

Jimmy's Mexican Pizza

Reviewed: Jun. 11, 2006
very good.. will definately make this one again. I used whole wheat tortillas since that is what I had on hand. Black olives would be great on this too. I used taco sauce since I was out of salsa... I am sure fresh homemade salsa would be great on it... quick and easy... thanks Jimmy..

Brown Rice, Broccoli, Cheese and Walnut Surprise

Reviewed: Feb. 23, 2006
this was wonderful... I have made it several times and passed it on to friends... I did not have instant rice so I used the kind you have to cook... I cooked the broccoli on the stove as I prefer it cooked that way. I also used chicken broth instead of vegetable broth. Made if for dinner for a few girlfriends with a chicken dish off this site... definately recommend trying it... it reheats great... thanks!

Sauerkraut Soup II

great tasting soup.... quick and easy to make. Will definitely make again. I would not change a thing, But if you dont have the canned potatoes and carrots you could just use fresh and boil a little longer.

Banana Banana Bread

Reviewed: Dec. 1, 2002
this was a very good banana bread recipe. Very moist. I did not have that many bananas so I used the recipe scaler and cut it in half. It made one small loaf. I added Chocolate chips and also a half tsp. of vanilla. Baking time in the small loaf pan then was approximately 35 to 40 min. Test with a wooden toothpick. I will definitely keep and use this one again. thanks!

Grandma's Green Bean Casserole

Reviewed: Nov. 14, 2002
this was wonderful! i did a dry run before thanksgiving and used the recipe scaler to downsize to use about one can of beans.... i followed what others had said and put half the cheese in the bean mixture and the rest on top. i was in a hurry and so i put my fresh onions that i had diced in just a very little amount of margarine/butter and put in the microwave for a couple minutes so they would not be crunchy... then i put the whole casserole minus the crumb mixture in the microwave for about 4 minutes to get it hot and bubbly and then popped it on the oven until the crumbs were browned.. this was great.. much better than the usual green bean casserole.... thanks to the creator...;-)

Angel Chicken Pasta

Reviewed: Nov. 4, 2002
This was very good. Definitely a keeper. I am making it for the second time tomorrow to take to work. Someone said that they would double the sauce next time and i agree. Also I made it on the stove instead of in the oven (it takes alot less time this way)using frozen chicken breasts I just browned them from the frozen state and added all ingredients once the chicken was lightly browned. It does not take long, for the chicken to cook though... just keep covered after the browning process. This time I am going to add fresh sliced mushrooms and some garlic. You could also cut the meat or slice it into pieces if you would like rather than have a whole piece for each serving. It was great.. thanks to the creator! !
