Peaches 'N Cream Pie

This was good, but I expected it to be better. I love peaches so I'm not sure why I wasn't so excited about it.

These are good, but can't think of anything special to say about them. I might like them better with white chocolate or peanut butter chips and omit the butterscotch. It covered up the chocoalte chips taste.

PBJ Crunch Bars

Strawberry Cake I

This was very good. I had to cook it about 10 minutes longer that instructed. Also, the cake was concave in the middle for some reason. I iced it with chocolate icing and put fresh strawberries on top and all said it was delicous. I think I'd use the whole carton (10 oz.) strawberries (drained) next time instead of just 4 oz.

Zesty Slow Cooker Chicken Barbecue

I needed shredded chicken for sandwiches so I cooked the boneless skinless chicken pieces in the crock pot first. Good thing because it made a lot of broth which probably would have watered down the bbq sauce. Otherwise I followed the ingredients and directions exactly. I don't like sweet bbq sauce so I did not buy the honey sweetened kind. I used Budweiser Original. After tasting before adding the sugar, it did need the full amount of sugar because of the tartness of the Italian dressing. It was good, not great. Guests ate it and were complmentary but no real raves about it.

Priceless Hillbilly Pie

Really delicous. I made two pies at once and there was enough of the syrup filling for 3, in deep dish pie shells. If I do this again, I will make extra cream cheese mixture and get a 3rd crust.

Country Morning Cake

I doubled this recipe and made one without raisins for my picky friends. It was just ok, nothing special and I hate to admit it, but I preferred the raisin-less one. The cake part was kind of tasteless. Others said it was good but seemed to be lacking something. ** Hey I just noticed that is said to put half the sugar mixture over the raisins then spread the remaining batter over the top. It never says that the other half of the brown sugar mixture should go on top of the second batter layer. Might have been better this way.
