Spinach Lasagna III

Reviewed: Apr. 24, 2011
This was the best lasagna recipie I've ever tried. I made it for my family and everyone loved it. I did add more spinach than the recipe calls for. A whole bag of fresh spinach that was. I also didn't use all the pasta noodles it called for because my baking tray wasn't as big. Served it with salad and garlic bread. Thee best, I will definatly make it again and again.

Bada Bing Bada Banged Potatoes

Reviewed: Aug. 28, 2011
Wow! What a perfect name for these potatoes! They are flavorful and spicy. My sister loved these, I will make them again and serve them as a side. What ever kind of potatoes you have on hand should work just fine.

Old Fashioned Onion Rings

Reviewed: Aug. 28, 2011
These were so good! I used Italian style breadcrumbs because that's all that I had. Great side dish or snack. They don't re-heat well, so eat them right away.

Peppered Shrimp Alfredo

Reviewed: May 18, 2011
Very easy and delicious recipe. I loved the Romano cheese on this. I actually omitted the cream and found using only the Alfredo sauce was sufficient. Instead of using portobello I used a different kind of mushroom since that's all I had. The cayenne pepper definitely gave it a kick!

Chile-Garlic Shrimp

Reviewed: May 30, 2011
I love spicy/hot foods! This was just great! Like I said I love spicy food so I added some chiles serrano, just a few slices. I served with white basmati rice. It was great, I wouldn't change anything about it.

Tomato Sauce

Reviewed: May 24, 2011
I made this recipe to use with cheese ravioli. And I actually modified it a little. I added some plain canned tomatoe sauce. I boiled some roma tomatoes until skin started to break then peeled them>. I combined the canned tomatoe sauce and cooked tomatoes and put them in the blender along with the onion. After this I followed the recipe and added some basil too. I actually didn't simmer for an hour and simmered for much less. Taste was great!

Spinach Tomato Tortellini

Reviewed: May 18, 2011
This was such and easy dish to make and very delicious! I'm definitely going to make it again! I actually used fresh tomatoes and reduced the amount since my husband is not a fan. Still, it was great! Served it with some garlic bread.

Brown Sugar Banana Nut Bread I

Reviewed: May 23, 2011
I made this bread and it wasn't as sweet as I expected it to be. I only used 2 bananas, because that's all I had, that probably played a role in the sweetness... or lack of it. Next time I try making it, I will use 4 bananas, as the recipie calls for..

Egg in a Boat

Reviewed: Aug. 28, 2011
So easy to make! I made this for my young daughter and she loved it! I used wheat bread and toasted the bread at the same time I cooked the egg, I also added some butter to the hole so the egg could cook nicely. Very easy and fun recipe.

Baked Zucchini Chips

Reviewed: Aug. 28, 2011
This recipe was pretty good for use as a side pasta dish. You need to eat them right away, since they don't re-heat nicely, they get soggy.

Mexican Pizza I

Reviewed: Aug. 28, 2011
This recipes only calls for 4 tortillas, how ever I used probably double, 8. Since I put one on the bottom and one to top the beans and beef. I used whatever toppings I had on hand. Added salsa to top it. Easy recipe.
