About this Cook
OLD Geezer who had a woman who was a gourmet cook, but did not want me in her way in kitchen, therefore I was at a loss when she passed because I could not pop corn without burning the oil
My favorite things to cook
Anything healthy yet good and simple
My cooking triumphs
I can boil water in micro for my instant coffee, And my micro is suprisingly intelligent!!!! If I place the measuring cup in with the handle facing me, it knows to stop in same position for easy removal
My cooking tragedies
I was wrong ALL Anchor Hocking is NOT micro safe Bowl shattered when trying to pop corn

Refried Beans Without the Refry
For a dip for chips that is even better than FRITO LAY dip, drain and mash per recipe and do not add back water, but 2 or 3 cans of Ro-Tel HOT diced tomatoes and green chilis.

Best Baked Chicken
Looks delish, but I am on a sodium restricted diet so will skip the salt and use garlic powder and skip the processed stuffing mix and make a salt free breading using cornmeal flour and spices. Think it still deserves 5 stars though.
