Peanut Butter and Pumpkin Dog Treats

Reviewed: Oct. 27, 2011
It was hard to rate this recipe. I guess my dog seems to like them but I think he'd like anything given to him by either of us. I tasted the cookie to see if it was good. Being a runner this cookie would've been good for a munching snack but it tastes awful!!!! I cant even taste the pumpkin, which I increased to one cup) or the peanut butter.

Spicy Layered Bean Dip

Reviewed: Oct. 24, 2011
AMAZING!!!!! This recipe is great with or without its spicy/hot elements. I did substitute Zoi brand plain Greek yogurt for the sour cream. It did taste a little bit salty (everyone else said it was fine). So I would recommend, if you can, to make your own salsa and re-fried beans to control the salt. Also I used a 2-quart cooking dish (since there isn't one defined in the recipe) and had to use a little bit more than the measurements.

Strawberry Cookies

Reviewed: Aug. 16, 2011
This recipe is really good! However I found that strawberry, carrot and funfettit flavor cakes are way TOO SWEET for this concentrated recipe. Devils food and/or any rich chocolate are the best. Did try to make key lime cookies with the funfetti cake mix-WAY TOO SWEET! I would say above all else for this recipe stick with the classic flavors and then add your touch to the batter later

Beer Cookies

Reviewed: Jul. 2, 2011
I only gave this recipe one star because half-of-a-star wasn't an option. I made these cookies for my dad for fathers day. What a HUGE mistake! I doubled the recipe to make him lots of cookies and the batter tasted AMAZING!!! If they could make the batter into like an ice cream the guys would go crazy for it. So I made these. The cooking time was way off. It took almost more than double the time for them to bake, they didn't bake all the way through and when they were done they were extremely flat, had absolutely NO flavor of the beer I had selected and pretty much served the purpose of a paper weight. I have NEVER in my ten years of cooking had so much trouble with a recipe. I will NEVER try this again.

Ham and Noodle Casserole

Reviewed: Apr. 26, 2011
This is a really good recipe. Especially if you have ALOT of ham or turkey or whatever just lying around from the holidays. The only change I made though is that I didn't measure my sour cream, just put in three heaping spoons, and as much cheese as I wanted. It came out very creamy with a hint of onion. Yummmm!
