Chili I

Reviewed: Feb. 5, 2012
Very good. I made it the day ahead, as suggested by other reviews. I also cut the sugar in half and it was plenty sweet for me. I used Guiness beer which I think was too strong. I also used just three cans of beans though four would be o.k but I liked three. Very good. A keeper.

Winter Fruit Salad with Lemon Poppyseed Dressing

Reviewed: Feb. 5, 2012
Excellent! Even though I was full I wanted to keep on eating. I had pecans so I toasted and substituted those. I forgot the dried cranberries but this salad was a winner that I will definitely make again.

Ultimate Party Meatballs

Easy but boring. I had to jazz it up with vinegar, pepper, mustard etc... I won't make this again.

Baked Macaroni and Cheese with Tomato

Reviewed: Jun. 9, 2011
I made this recipe last night and my son and I loved it. I took some advice from the other postings and customized it a bit. I used half the macaroni and milk suggested. I added a can of diced tomatoes (with juice), garlic powder, italian seasonings and salt-free seasoning. I didn't put butter in the casserole but I can see where it would have tasted good. Everythings better with butter, right ; ) I did put it over the top of the breadcrumbs. I will definately make this again.

Honey Mustard Tofu

Reviewed: May 29, 2011
After reading some of the reviews I was a bit leary to try this recipe. I took the advice of taking the tofu out of the pan after frying. I had now white wine so I just put a few splashes of vinegar. I too used a bit of cornstarch to thicken the sauce. I loved it and will cook it again. Suzy
