Beef Bulgogi

Reviewed: Aug. 11, 2011
Wow, so good! I first made the mistake of not cooking it enough, like the sugars hasn't caramelized yet. It had nice flavor, but getting it caramelized is really the key to this. So I turned up the heat and rectified it.

Garlic Chicken

Reviewed: May 27, 2011
Did it the first time with chicken but the breading didn't stay. It's a shame cause the flavors were good. The second time I did it with tofu and it was fantastic! I added some more garlic cloves though because the bread crumbs were a bit overpowering. Don't forget parmesan guys! Or any kind of cheese

Crispy Barbequed Tofu Slices

Reviewed: May 27, 2011
This will be bland without the BBQ sauce! I didn't have enough sauce so here's what I did: I suggest sprinkling salt and pepper before baking it for 15-20 in the oven. I omitted the BBQ sauce the second time I made it because it was too subtle. I dipped the tofu in egg white then dipped it in a mixture of breadcrumbs and shredded parmesan cheese. I then pan-fried it and only flipped it after the under side has been browned. Enjoy and goodluck!

Zippy Summer Shrimp

Reviewed: May 14, 2011
Very easy and quick to cook. I substituted one small red pepper instead of red pepper flakes and they were a tad too spicy for me. The flavor is great, but it's not fantastic. Maybe I'll try it a couple of more times and see how it could be made better

Eggplant Tomato Bake

Reviewed: May 13, 2011
It felt very substantial, but I had to add some basil and used a different kind of cheese to add some flavor. And pepper and olive oil too.

Indian Chapati Bread

Reviewed: May 13, 2011
Mine ended up being dry and hard, but I think I did it subconsciously or not kneaded it enough. But the taste is great :) It's not bad for my first try.

Baked Kale Chips

Reviewed: Apr. 25, 2011
Holy kalenoli! This is my first time eating kale and I love it! It tastes just like the Lays I used to eat! The batch I made had soy sauce on half of it (a suggestion made by another reviewer) and it was delicious. I actually forgot the timer, so I just occasionally checked the ends if it was starting to brown or at least crisp. Anyway, I will never buy chips again. Thank you Lucy!
