Roasted Garlic Lemon Broccoli

Made as written first time, too salty. Not a big salt eater. I salted after taking out of even, I tweaked to my liking, added garlic power and a pinch of Nutmeg, always use on my green vegies. With these changes, was loved by all and have made it over and over. LOVE IT! Thanks for posting, sorry I tweaked, but it worked for us. The basic is great, and do whatever ya like.

Creamy Au Gratin Potatoes

I run my onions through my chopper, much better than rings. Also while saute'ing add a bit of garlic powder or garlic paste. I slice my potato's through my Moulinex. They are paper thin. I boil my potato's salted, half salt/half celery salt. The celery adds a very nice flavor. Bake covered, last 5 to 10 miutes uncover for browning. Since boiling, cuts down on bake time, and I bake at 325 for 1hr. I double the recipe, AWESOME leftover dish. Since the potato's are so thin, they are very cheesie. Have eaten these this way for 50 some years.

Instant Potato Pancakes

Did use this recipe, but not a fan of potato flakes,I use potato beads, HUGE can from Walmart, already has butter, don't even have to add salt. Added a little garlic and grated onion. They were yummy, so much better than potato flakes.

Oregon Salmon Patties

Great basic recipe. I did make a few minor changes. I don't like the mustard in them, did use a splash of Worcestershire, 1 tbls Old Bay, I also grate my onions and caramelize with tbls garlic paste. I always use cracker meal. It keeps forever in the frig. Use no liquid. Also I use Red sock-eye salmon. It is so much better than the pink. Have to buy 2 cans, as it comes in 7 1/2 oz per can. Made with the dill sauce from here, served with rice pilaf and roasted broccoli/cauliflower, garlic bread~~~ It was delish.

Parmesan Basil Tomato Soup

Have done this for MANY years. I do omit the rosemary. I use whole or 2% milk, and NO oil. I use either salt-free butter or Can't believe it's not butter. Only use about a tsp. Always approx tsp/tbls of sugar to cut acidity. Pairs great with grill cheese.

Healthier Broiled Tilapia Parmesan

Have made it this way for years, but I use lemon/pepper and Old Bay is a must, no celery salt, and I add about a tsp dill. Eat it 1-2 times a week, for sure a keeper. Wonderful over a bed of spinach and rice pilaf. YUM-guess this is dinner tomorrow, taste buds are kicking :-) Only 4* because of my changes.
