Strawberry Pretzel Salad

Also good with Raspberry gelatin and use frozen raspberries....not in juice, just frozen. I also use 1/2 cup of powdered sugar rather than 1 cup of sugar....it's plenty sweet. The cream cheese layer does need to be chilled for about 45-60 minutes and I chill the gelatin for about 40 minutes then add the frozen berries....pour that onto the cheese layer. It is a great potluck recipe.

Judy's Strawberry Pretzel Salad

This is a great recipe but one I use is slightly different. For the cream layer use only ONE 8oz cream cheese, 1/2 cup of powdered sugar and the one small carton of cool whip. This is also delicious with Raspberry gelatin. Use frozen raspberries (not in juice) and add to the gelatin when it has jelled about 40 minutes. The key is definitely to not bake the crust more than 10 minutes or it does become like cemeent.

Sam's Famous Carrot Cake

This was very good...I did follow another users advice and added more carrot, used oil and applesauce....I too omitted the coconut but did use the raisins. With the cream cheese frosting it was delicious. I baked it in an 8x12 pan and flipped it out to frost it. Mine was done well before 60 minutes though. I would recommend checking it at 30-35 minutes. Thanks for sharing this!
