Sweet and Sour Smoked Sausage

Reviewed: Oct. 3, 2004
Easy, amazing tasting, and wonderful as leftovers. My husband and 1 year old ate it up! I put in 3 tablespoons of sweat and sour sauce as I had 2lbs of meat... but it was perfect!!!

Turkey Taco Salad

Reviewed: Jun. 17, 2003
This was very good. I only had a little regular mayo, and used some miracle whip. Even with the combination I only had a cup and a half of mayo and it was WAY too much. Next time I'll use light... and not so much. But all in all it was great and my husband asked to bring it for lunch the next day!!

Fruited Rice Salad on the Half

Reviewed: May 20, 2003
yummy... but one really needs to make sure the avacado is ripe. This recipe was well recieved at a dinner party... but lots of people left the avacado.

Manicotti

Really good. Easier than expected. The cook time for my oven was off though. I checked it at 30 minutes and it was starting to blacken around the edges.

Avocado and Sun-Dried Tomato Spring Rolls

Reviewed: Apr. 7, 2003
Very Yummy! Even without some ingredients. I couldn't find the sun-dried tomatoes so I left them out. I only used 3 cups of oil and doubled the recipe, which was great! There were only 5 of us at dinner and we ate every roll. My husband informed me that the recipe was a keeper! If serving for company, I do recommend toothpicks. The rice papers tend to be a little gummy.

I made with ground turkey. It was good, not that exciting and not all that pretty to serve.

Brian's Favorite Sauce

Reviewed: Mar. 29, 2003
This sauce was wonderful. It was nice and sweet. Next time I will add even more sausage! I let it simmer for 4 hours as others had suggested and I believe that made all the difference. YUMMY!!

Pumpkin Bread IV

I LOVED this recipe. I made a loaf with walnuts, 6 huge muffins, and another loaf with chocolate chips! It was the perfect addition to the pantry while entertaining relatives for a long weekend!

Family Sicilian Sauce and Meatballs

Reviewed: Nov. 19, 2002
This may be easy for someone with more cooking experience to read between the lines. Steps MUST be missing because I had ingredients I never used. The meatballs wouldn't even stay together... i ended up throwing them out. Sorry... but this was a MESS for me (and a waste of money).

Tasted great! Not the best as a leftover so I recommend not making much extra. This recipe was too much for my husband and I.
