I made this with a canola oil/flour crust off this site, and it was alright, but not the best. My fiance loves pecan pie and won't eat it. He said it reminded him of the kind of pie they serve at a place like Denny's. His complaint was that it didn't have enough pecans, even though I did the 1 cup chopped plus pecans on top. If you like a lot of pecans in your pie, I suggest adding an extra 1/4 cup or more to mixture. I baked mine at 350 for 15 minutes and 300 for 55 minutes, as a previous reviewer suggested. It did not burn that way, which was a nice change from my mom's pie, but it was a little too soft on the bottom for my liking that way.
