Slow Cooker Mashed Potatoes

Reviewed: Nov. 28, 2013
Very very good. I would make it this way again. Used a towel as suggested in another review. Didn't use as much butter as recipe called for also per another review. Thanks!

Spaghetti Squash Casserole

Reviewed: Oct. 16, 2013
I made this for the first time after seeing it on a "high protein" website. It's very good! The only changes I had to make were jarred parsley as I didn't have fresh and I used canned chopped tomatoes w/ chiles (Rotel) instead of 2 plum tomatoes. I would recommend this even as a side dish at Thanksgiving!

Spaghetti Casserole III

Reviewed: Feb. 16, 2013
Eh....it was good, I used the ketchup as recipe said and kind of regretted it, it was a little too sweet for my tastes. So, if I made it again, I would use spag. sauce as others did. I didn't use the pepper and didn't miss it. If I were to add anything else it would be mushrooms. I also used mozzerella instead of cheddar and I would use it again, I love mozzerella.

Quick and Easy Tuna Casserole

Reviewed: Feb. 9, 2013
Added about 1/2 soup can of milk as others suggested. Used mozzerella (2 cups.) Used 1/2 chopped onion, microwaved it for a bit to soften. Baked in the oven after mixing up in pot, at 350 for 20 min. I'd be tempted to put more tuna in it next time....but maybe not.

Excellent. I substituted a can of diced tomatoes for fresh, put in almost 2 c. mozzerella, kept pasta at 8 oz. sliced the zucchini thin in the food processor. It was deeeelish.

We liked this recipe, added in some taco seasoning to the meat....still could have been spicier for us. Overall pretty good.

Loved it. Didn't use the wine, so was a little dry, but delicious!

Very yummy, but next time I'm going to add more jelly than the recipe calls for...it needed more.

Slow Cooker London Broil

Reviewed: Apr. 23, 2009
I followed the directions and the meat came out way overcooked. I think it would be fine, I just have to figure out the cooking time.

Good, needed more than 50 minutes to cook though....more like 1 hr. 20 minutes. I used a glass dish though which may be why it took longer.

Parmesan Chicken I

Reviewed: Dec. 20, 2008
My husband and I enjoyed this. I cooked it for 8 hours on low and the chicken was a tad dry. Next time I'll try 7 hours. I didn't change anything in the recipe. Very good, thanks!

Ground Turkey Casserole

Reviewed: Apr. 16, 2008
This was pretty easy to make. I didn't have any cheddar on hand so I used mozzerella. I was a little put off by the cream cheese/sour cream mixture. I think ricotta or cottage cheese would have tasted better, but that's just a personal preference. My husband really liked it. I did put some pepper and italian seasoning into the turkey, along with some canned chopped tomatoes that I had on hand. I did this after reading some of the comments from others. I would make this again.

This was good, a lot of oil, would decrease that a bit next time, maybe to 1/2 c.

Slow-Cooker Barbecue Ribs

Reviewed: Feb. 19, 2007
Really good. Used Jack Daniels BBQ sauce (2 c.) and one cup ketchup. Couldn't find babyback ribs so bought Porkloin "countrystyle" bone-in ribs which were fatty, but still very good with a lot of meat. I will definitely keep this recipe for future use!

Mustard Onion Pork Chops

Reviewed: Dec. 14, 2006
Absolutely delicious! I used Goulden's Honey Musturd, just spreading it on top of each chop. (I used boneless pork chops.) The onions were a nice touch. Very flavorful. I had to bake for 25 minutes. Thanks!
