Sausage Cornbread Bake
I used a box of cornbread mix instead of the individual ingredients. It was really good, even my picky 3 yr old ate it up. Unfortunately, it just didn't sit right with me or the 7 yr old and we both got very sick, so we won't make this combination again, but it was good up to that point. (I think it was the sweet cornbread mix instead of unsweetened as the recipes has).

Fudge
I substituted milk chocolate chips and used the stove top instead. (I wasn't sure which bowls I had that are microwaveable...lol). It took a couple hours to set, but turned out delicious. Candy thermometer, soft-ball stage, etc. can really turn people off. This was so simple and easy (start to refrigerator was 10 minutes), that I shared this recipe out to facebook so other people won't be scared of making fudge. Thank you for making life so much easier!

Soft Christmas Cookies
The only change I made was 3 cups flour instead of 3 3/4 and they chilled in the refrigerator overnight as the kids fell asleep too early to make them. They turned out great! I used flour to roll them out and they are perfect! No floury taste and soft and fluffy melt-in-your-mouth goodness. I put some chocolate chips inside one and rolled it up. DON'T! It took AWAY from the flavor. These are perfect as is.
