Candy Cane Fudge

Reviewed: Dec. 22, 2013
very yummy! I tried to take others advice and swirl in the food coloring at the end but I worked too slow. Watch out, it hardens quickly. I used white chocolate chips since that's all I could find and it's VERY sweet, but looking at the ingredients I would expect that. I would make it again.

Traditional Hummus

Reviewed: Dec. 22, 2013
I added a jar of roasted red bell peppers (drained) and it was delicious. Great as a sandwich spread too.

Caramel Popcorn

Reviewed: Dec. 22, 2013
I've made this 3 times now and it's amazing, the only thing I wish I knew the first time was to spread it on parchment paper after it comes out of the oven, then let it cool. The directions said to let cool completely then break apart but I lost 1/4 of my caramel corn to the pan. I've used Light and dark brown sugar and they're both good but I prefer the dark.

Hearty Breakfast Muffins

Reviewed: Sep. 28, 2013
Very good muffins! I made a double batch: half regular size muffins and half mini muffins, the mini only took 11-12 min. Took them to pre school and about 8/10 3yr olds liked them so that's pretty good for toddlers! My 3yr old and 18mo old couldn't get enough! I used raisins instead of cherries, no nuts, and I was short 1 banana for the double batch so used a jar of apple/cherry baby food (which was fine, but not necessary). Used plain greek yogurt and next time will use vanilla greek (I like them a little sweeter, but they were sweet enough for everyone else) and add nutmeg. Will DEFINITELY make again.

Nontraditional Crab Dip

Reviewed: Apr. 5, 2012
Very good but I made some alterations: I used approx 1 full cup dungeness lump crab, 1pkg 8oz cream cheese (vs 2), 6oz (total) pepper jack and otherwise stucke to the recipe minus the jalepenos. It was very tasty and very rich. I would definitely make this again but add some seasoning like old bay, maybe a little tapatio, and some chopped/thawed/drained frozen spinach.
