Absolutely Fabulous Greek/House Dressing

Reviewed: Apr. 19, 2011
This is a decent base for a dressing. I had to adjust some measurements to suite our tastes.

Hot Fudge Sauce

Reviewed: Dec. 23, 2010
This turned out awesome! All I had was unsweetened chocolate squares, so I added 1/2 cup brown sugar into the milk and chocolate. I also added a pinch or two of salt... it just added that extra touch. So good, so quick, and so easy! =)

Mound Bars

Reviewed: Feb. 24, 2010
These are awesome!! They are easy and simple and come out fantastic! I took the advice of another review and sprinkled the coconut over the crust and then poured the sweetened condensed milk over and with a spatula gently smooshed the coconut and milk together. Also, I just melted the chocolate in a bowl in the microwave and added a small amount of shortening and combined it into the chocolate. This way when the chocolate hardened, it was not brittle. So yummy and everyone really liked it! Thanks!

Blueberry Zucchini Bread

Reviewed: Feb. 4, 2010
Awesome!! I halved the recipe and made it as muffins, baking for 30 minutes. They were delicious and the texture was perfect... the recipe itself is perfect! This would also be wonderful with raisins in place of the blueberries. Wonderful recipe... thank you! =)

No Bake Cookies I

Reviewed: Sep. 29, 2007
These were alright. I did add coconut as recommended by another reviewer, and I'm glad I did because it added more flavor. The kids liked them, probably because they were very sweet. It would be better if the directions were a little more detailed as far as cooking the chocolate mixture. I may try these again...

Hawaiian Banana Nut Bread

Reviewed: Sep. 29, 2007
This bread was fantastic! I did make a couple of minor changes. I added 1/2 cup less sugar and did NOT miss it! It is plenty sweet with less sugar. I added 1 extra teaspoon of vanilla extract. I did not use the cinnamon... I don't care for cinnamon in my banana bread. I used pecans instead of walnuts, just because I prefer pecans. Macadamia nuts would be awesome in this as well (if you can afford them!). The consistency of this bread is wonderful and the flavor is delicious! Thank you so much for this recipe! I will be making this again many more times!

Buttery Rolls

Reviewed: Sep. 27, 2007
Simple, delicious, and perfect! I have never had a bread machine recipe come out this good before. My whole family loved them and I will make these again many times! I did not make any changes to the recipe and I would recommend NOT changing it in any way. It is absolutely perfect as is. Debbie, thank you so much for sharing this recipe!

Best Bread Machine Bread

Reviewed: Dec. 11, 2006
This is a great recipe for sandwich bread or even for putting butter on to go with soup. It was simple and turned out good. I might try adding some whole wheat flour next time to make it more nutritious. Thanks for the recipe! I'll be making this many more times I'm sure.

Mocha au Lait Mix

Reviewed: Dec. 2, 2006
I may be just picky, but this was not that good as is... the mini chocolate chips did not melt very well and it was not very sweet (probably because the chocolate didn't melt). I did manage to save this by adding some unsweetened cocoa powder and extra sugar. I probably would not try this again though. Thank you anyway.

Chai Tea Mix

Reviewed: Dec. 2, 2006
I was very pleased with this recipe! I followed the recipe except for the cardamom, which I didn't have on hand and it is so expensive... so I just replaced with allspice and nutmeg to equal the equivalent of the cardamom. This has a very nice flavor and dissolved well. I may add a tad LESS sugar, but other than that this recipe is PERFECT! Thank you so much.

This was decent. The meat was very tender. No what I was looking for in flavor, but not bad either. Might try again... probably will keep looking also. Thanks.

Italian Sausage Soup

Reviewed: Sep. 25, 2006
I made some minor changes to this (turkey sausage, kidney beans), because that was what I had on hand. I wasn't overly impressed with this. My family ate it, but no one was crazy over this. The carrots tasted off, and we would have preferred more seasonings. This recipe just wasn't for us. Thanks though!

Kettle Corn

Reviewed: Sep. 23, 2006
Just made this. It turned out great, but I would add a little more sugar. I added 1 TBS. butter in with the oil. Added the sugar (along with 1/4 tsp salt) right as the corn began to pop. I also added scant dashes of cinnamon and nutmeg... we once asked a guy making kettle corn how he made it and he said there were spices in it, although he wouldn't say what those were. So, this is a good recipe. Quick and easy. This takes less than 10 minutes for start to finish. Thanks!

Quick and Easy Green Chile Chicken Enchilada Casserole

Reviewed: Sep. 21, 2006
This was pretty ordinary. It needed more seasoning. I'm not sure what the reason is for charring, since the tortillas become mush. I may try tinkering with this...

Last Minute Chicken Dinner

Reviewed: Sep. 9, 2006
As is, this recipe is more like 3 stars, but if you use your cooking wit, you can make it into more of a 4. The idea is a good idea and therefore, I used the idea. But what I did with the idea and what I added is more like a whole new recipe! So, I won't go into detail, just quickly: probably wouldn't use potatoes next time. Steamed fresh broccoli, cauliflower and carrots in steamer and added to chicken and sauce a few minutes before serving. I think this makes it MUCH better. Those frozen veggies sometimes put off a weird taste into the dish they are cooked in. Added some cheddar cheese along with the Parm. Added some extra seasoning, too. All in all, after the changes, my family liked this. Thanks for the good idea.

Apple Crisp II

Reviewed: Sep. 9, 2006
This recipe was easy and so delicious! I did add some extra spices (dash of cloves, nutmeg, and ground ginger) and some vanilla and brown sugar to the apples. It is not necessary to double the topping. I think it would be too much if you did that. I didn't have a problem with the apples getting mushy, but you will have that problem if you use an apple that is not meant for baking. Use Granny Smiths. They always work well for baking.

Chicken Broccoli Ca - Unieng's Style

Reviewed: Aug. 24, 2006
Well, my husband and I thought this was pretty mediocre. I would give this 2 stars, but my kids really liked it. So, 3 stars. Not the most flavorful stirfry, but it is kid-friendly. Thanks for sharing.
