Cajun Popcorn

Great Flavor! I was out of thyme so I subsituted oregano and the popcorn was delcious.

Great Recipe! I used a 9.5 inch pie to avoid the run over that other reviewers complained of and sprinkled the pie with nutmeg prior to baking. I also used a hand mixer to make sure that all of the ingredients were beaten together extremely smooth. The pie was perfect. Next time I'll back it like a creme brulee in a waterbath without the crust.

Beef Stroganoff III

Great Recipe! I used fresh mushrooms and added the wine with the broth so the alcohol would be gone. My family enjoyed it a lot and we will be making this again.

Slow Cooker Chicken Stroganoff

Great Slow Day Recipe! My kids eat this every time. I add frozen pes and carrots during the last minutes of the recipe and allow it to cool before serving. My son was 14 months old the first time I made this and he cleaned his plate twice!

Original Homemade Italian Beef

This recipe was nice, very flavorful. I made this for my family and thought that reducing the peppers to two with no juice would omit the spicy side of this dish, but I was wrong. My kids could not eat this so I had to make another meal for them. I think this recipe is perfect for crowds. Would make again for a football party.

Detroit Hot Honey Wings

I made this for Memorial Day and we ate all of them. I did follow some suggestions and omitted the salt. I added garlic powder to the rub and fresh crushed garlic to the sauce. I heated the sauce on low for a few minutes to take the raw taste out of the garlic. This recipe is a keeper.

Italian Sausage Soup

Great! I made this during a snow day when everyone was home. I added some alphabet pasta during the last 10 minutes of cooking to make it exciting for my kids. This recipe is definitely becoming a regular.

David's Yellow Cake

Very moist. I made this cake for my son's 1st birthday and made a fudge frosting. He loved it. The cake was moist and fluffy. Plus this recipe yields 2 8-inch cakes, perfect size for a family of four. I will definitely make again.

Beef Tamales

This is a great recipe. Next time I make it I will definitely increase the salt. I did not add a lot out of fear that the tamales would be too salty. I did find it easier to puree the peppers in my blender with a cup of the beef broth. When I attempted to grind them in my mortar, it did not do anything. Another difference is I added baking powder to the tamale dough because the masa corn that I purchased indicated this as a key ingredient. My tamales came out great. I bought 5 bags of corn husks instead of 3 and I used most of them. I would definitely make this again.
