Beef Stroganoff III

Reviewed: Apr. 11, 2014
This was so good and everyone loved it. I quadrupled this because we had a lot of meat and so many people here and I wanted some leftovers. I did two things slightly different. I used half the amount of sour cream and then half cream cheese per some reviews to make it creamer. It was delicious. The only other thing I did differently is I cooked it in a pressure cooker and it was done much faster and really tender. I will definitely make this again.

Salsa Chicken Rice Casserole

Reviewed: Mar. 9, 2014
Excellent! Everyone loved it! I followed advice of some reviewers and sautéed the chicken first instead of boiling. I also used more chicken, rice and cheese. I put in a 13 x 15 pan to accommodate the extras and did not want it to overflow. I added a little extra salsa to the soups and made extra rice for the guys that always want more rice. I covered it with foil for 30 minutes And then removed for the remaining cooking time. Definitely a hit and will make again.

Italian Sausage and Mushroom Lasagna with Bechamel Sauce

Reviewed: Feb. 27, 2014
Really good. After reading reviews I used a 13 x 15 pan since I did not have a "lasagna" pan. I used more noodles because of the bigger pan, I also doubled the sausage and used more mushrooms. I did not increase the liquid and it did not need it. Everyone really loved it and those that don't like mushrooms did not even realize they were in there. The only complaint my husband had was that he likes more meat. I would definitely make this again doubling the meat again (so 4 times the amount recommended).

Buttered Biscuits

Reviewed: Feb. 16, 2014
Really good. I did not have the self rising flour so I did Monique's suggestions. I also brushed melted butter on top as suggested by another reviewer. My family loved them for breakfast with eggs, bacon, cheese and some ate them with strawberry jam.

Baked French Toast

Reviewed: Jan. 29, 2014
EXCELLENT! I did make changes per reviews. I used 6 eggs, 2 cups half & half (no milk), 2 tsp vanilla and 1/4 tsp of cinnamon. I only soaked about 6 hours (made for dinner). Next time I will slice bread in 2" slices (as another reviewer suggested) so all slices fit in pan. Sit out for a bit while heating oven, poured sauce over and baked at 400 for about 30 minutes. Lowered to 350 and let bake until it no longer looked soggy. All 7 family members loved it!

Clark's Quiche

Reviewed: Jan. 19, 2014
This was very good and my family really enjoyed it. Not really a traditional style quiche but very tasty. Next time I will either pre-cook the crust or try another suggestion because the crust was very soggy. Also this took much longer than 15 minutes to prep. One pie fed five and I froze the second one.

Potato Crunchy Tenders

Reviewed: Jan. 14, 2014
This recipe is very good. I made some of chicken tenders with garlic potatoes and some with the buttery ones. My family loved both of them. I also double dipped some of them which added a thicker coating. Definitely will make this again.

Broccoli Rice Casserole by Minute® Rice

Reviewed: Jan. 19, 2013
I did not have all the ingredients, so I used regular rice, fresh broccoli which I chopped after cooking, and 1 cup shredded cheddar. I also took someone else's advice and used crushed ritz crackers instead of the bread cubes. Everyone really liked it. Very yummy.

Grilled Salmon I

Reviewed: Jun. 3, 2012
This was excellent. My entire family loved it. My salmon filet was 3 lbs and I grilled it without foil and it fell apart when I tried to flip it. Next time I will cut it into smaller pieces so that it's not so hard to flip. Some of it got a little chard but that was still tasty. I will definitely make this again.

Jo-Ann's Power Bars

Reviewed: May 9, 2012
Excellent! I've made these a several times and the whole family loves them. I made the first time I made exactly as called for and the second I used peanut butter. I doubled the batch the 3rd time and put 2 TBSP of dark choc chips. I preferred the pecans over the walnuts. I also used dried cherries, blueberries, craisins and raisins. Excellent and filling!

Tasty and easy. Some of my family added extra farfalle to their plate. I used a little more chicken than called for and thought maybe there could be even more.

Quiche Lorraine II

Reviewed: Nov. 14, 2011
My daughter asked for this when she had her wisdom teeth out. I made 2 so we could all eat it. It was delicious! Only a small piece left over for her lunch the next day. I spooned the onions in before draining, just more flavor. It was perfect for her sore mouth and satisfied everyone's appetite. We will definitely be making this again.

Cream Soup Base

I made one of my own recipes and did not have the cream of chicken soup so I made this and used it instead. It worked out perfectly. I did not have boullion cubes so I used a teaspoon of the HerbOx chicken instant bouillon granuals for each cube instead. My family loved it.

Chicken and Cashews

Reviewed: May 4, 2011
Excellent. This dish was very simple to make. I made it for 6 servings and then doubled the soy sauce mixture so there was enough liquid to mix in with the rice. I also made stir fry vegetables. I marinated the chicken in some of the soy sauce mixture first for about 30 minutes as some reviewers suggested. This dish was very tasty and I will make it again.

Best Big, Fat, Chewy Chocolate Chip Cookie

Reviewed: Apr. 20, 2011
These are one of the best chocolate chip cookies I've ever eaten. Even my daughter's boyfriend who does not like chocolate loved these! The only problem was they were gone so quickly! You could probably add peanut butter chips too! Yum!!!
