Our family absolutely loves this recipe...it's our favorite by far of all the turkey soup recipes I've tried. In fact, thinking about it, I want to make it right now!! I used only 1C of 1/2 and 1/2 and 1 C of milk, didn't have any celery either time I made it, and used barley instead of rice. Barley is so nutritious and great in this soup. Also, I really cut down on the amount of butter as suggested by another post. Even still, 1C of 1/2 and 1/2 and barely any butter and this s a delicious, rich soup. Try it, you'll like it....really.
