Italian Wedding Cookies III

Reviewed: Dec. 10, 2012
These are really good. They taste just like they are supposed to. The only thing is i left them in for the 15 minutes the first time around and they were way over done. Not black but they tasted burned. So i tried again and found that 10 minutes is perfect.

Jam Filled Butter Cookies

Reviewed: Dec. 8, 2012
Very good! Smooth and buttery. Easy to make and they look so delicate. I do also suggest adding the vanilla or almond extract and a 1/2 tsp of salt. Best cookies I have made yet. (usually my cookies are an epic fail).

Best Brownies

Reviewed: Apr. 28, 2012
Okay.. Im giving these 5 stars not because I loved them, but because every one else did. Im not a chocolate lover, but i've always loved brownies. these were very chocolaty. They are not chewy, but they are very dense not cake like although some people seem to think so-they are far to dense to be anything like cake, but they are not chewy.. but every one loved them, they are chocolate lovers. I would suggest reducing the cocoa if your like me because they are super rich.. almpst like fudge.

Home-Style Scalloped Potatoes

Reviewed: Apr. 3, 2012
Great recipe. I added 2 of my grandmas secret ingredients( a 2 tbs mustard and 2 tbs cheddar broccoli soup powder mix, the kind w/out little pieces of freeze dried powder mix) A quick tip to those of you talking about how long it had to cook, Boils the potatoes for 5 to 10 minutes while your making the sauce. Then drain them and continue with the rest of the steps. Cuts your baking time in half!!!

Cream Cheese Sugar Cookies

Reviewed: Dec. 23, 2011
Well i have not baked them yet but the dough is in the fridge. I added 1/2 cup confct. sugar b/c i found that after i added the flour it was lacking sweetness. I also added 1/4 tsp more of the almond extract and 3 drops rum extract and 1/2 tsp lemon and i omitted the vanilla simply b/c i feel that the vanilla gives sugar cookies a generic flavor(personal Preference) Dough tasted great-other than the raw flour.lol

Burrito Pie

very easy and exceptionally yummy. Will make agian. This recipe will surely satisfy your mexican food craving with out the big hacienda price. And a tip. for those of you watching your fat intake. I used ground turkey instead of beef. I also used plain low fat strained yogurt instead of sour cream and low calorie enchilada sauce. And it was amazing.

Chewy Sugar Cookies

Reviewed: Oct. 1, 2011
Delicous. I recently tried the no- roll sugar cookies and they just didnt turn out for me. So tonight I tried these and they were awesome. And heres the catch. After I had already started making these I discoverd that I had no eggs. I didnt want to waste my stuff so I just threw them in the oven any way. I suprised they came out. Im keeping this one.

Bavarian Strawberry Pie

Reviewed: Sep. 24, 2011
I just made mine and it is in the fridge right now. I tasted the cream and strawberries and it remined me of strawberry ice cream. I took the advice of once of the reviewers and used sweetend cocconut and nilla wafers. I havent tried the crust yet but it smelled delicous. I used a real lemon insted of lemon juice. Half of it went into the crust and the other half to the cream. I added it directly to the strawberries instead of adding it to the gelatin.

I made this for the first time and I am eating at this moment. Its really good. I made one modification. I added cream cheese in with the sour cream mixture. 1/2 of the creamed mixture went into the blueberrys and 1/2 on top. very delightful.
