About this Cook
I a 18 years old, and I have the greatest siblings ever. There are 12 kids in all, and I am number 8 in the line up. I work as a nanny, and love the kids I nanny.
My favorite things to cook
I love to cook stir fry's, chicken sandwiches, anything with chicken, and desserts.
My favorite family cooking traditions
Both my Grandma Hall, and my Great-Grandma Myers, make the absolute best potato salads, that are served at every major family gathering.
My cooking triumphs
I have successfully made meringue cookies, and pumpkin bars that tasted like my grandma's. (Which, if you have tasted hers, you know it's a high compliment.)
My cooking tragedies
When I was 13, I mistook white cornmeal for flour, while making sugar cookies. (Need I say more?) I ruined Cowboy Cookies, by using coconut oil instead of shortening once.

Mexican-Style Hot Chocolate
I cut the recipe down so it only made 3 servings and in doing so I kind of altered a few ingredients slightly. I also added a few squirts of Hershey's syrup for some extra chocolate flavor. SOOOO CREAMY!!!!

Teriyaki Sauce
This was so easy to make! I don't keep cooking sherry on-hand so I used rice vinegar instead and it was perfect! I also only had time to marinate the meat I was using for about 45 min but the meat still had a wonderful flavor! This will definitely be going in my favorite recipe book!
