Tender Italian Baked Chicken

Reviewed: Feb. 7, 2011
I've been making this recipe for years - I add more spices ( onion pwdr, parsley, pepper, seasoning salt) I've also added a honey mustard to the mayo for added flavor, I've also used crushed croutons combined w/ the bread crumbs for an extra crunch.

Slow Cooker Chicken Dinner

Reviewed: Feb. 7, 2011
the chicken was etremely juicy & tender, but the veggies were just ok in this gravy. I seasoned my chicken prior to adding the soup mixture (galic, onion pwdr, italian seasoning, seasoning salt, and pepper) also seasoned potatoes & carrots. I would malke again but would probably only cook the chicken this way and make different side dishes.

Weeknight Pork Chops

Reviewed: Feb. 2, 2011
Hubby liked this more than I did, it was good just not great, I used strawberry jam, apple cider, and mixed 1/2 golden & 1/2 honey mustard. Perhaps w/ a different jam ??? Good for a change.

WOW these were great! We were looking for a recipe to bring us back to our childhood (my aunt - his grandmother), these came out sooo good. Didn't have cloves so I used nutmeg and a dash of ginger, also added @ 1/3 c applesauce. used 1/2 golden 1/2 reg raisins (approx 1 1/2 cups all together) added 1 c mini choc chips. baked in 9x13 greased pan 20 min and did 1 sheet of cookies 12 min both excellent - I think better than my aunts ssshhhh

Apple Stuffed Chicken Breast

Reviewed: Jan. 28, 2011
hubby loved this - added golden raisins, brwn sugar and a little nutmeg to stuffing mix, also used a Mexican mix of cheeses. Didn't have any wine in house so used apple juice and a little chick stock. Had too much stuffing so after brwn in pan put in oven 350 @ 20 min added rest of stuffing on top of chicken and cooked another 10 min or so - excellent, very tender, juicy & tasty

Oven Pancakes

Big hit in my house, a little more "eggy" tasting than french toast but wow, loved it! added 2 tbsp brwn sugar, 1 tsp vanilla, 1/4 tsp nutmeg. used only 1/4 cup butter - it was plenty. easy sunday morning treat and yummy!

Teriyaki Chicken

Reviewed: Jan. 25, 2011
this was good - i used chicken breasts (skinless & boneless) instead of a whole chicken, perhaps thats whu it's not getting a higher score, but it still had a nice taste - should have marinated it longer perhaps
